I don't want to start naming folk as every player was superb. It was a joy to watch after we started playing sets out. Some defensive frailties to work on, but it was nice to watch at times.

If it wasn't for Aiye & JD the jam International select had nothing. Newton and Castle celebrating with the crowd when they went 16 up like it was over, and the Haven boys dancing with their tops off after 15 minutes.....then the wheels fell off in spectacular fashion

Agree about Aiye and Doran, head and shoulders above the rest of their team, Aiye just gets better the older he gets.

Listened to Jonty’s interview on Cumbria crack and he said Carter had the opportunity to go and train with a super league club for a week or two so he let him go but would be back with Haven for the season.

Full spectrum of emotion in that game. Thought the teams looked a class apart in that first 20.

Did Hutton score that last try? If so that, after the P-taking and physical shoving he took from the Haven players having been forced into touch when we were 16-0 down, is just wonderful Karma.

That is really true rivalry aside, it's the only time we get a half decent gate these days

I meant the 2 players he named. Jonty said in his after match interview Carter had the chance to train with a SL club this week so he didn’t play him.

On another note though our 18th man the saxophone player was class at halftime, can he play every week?

Watching clips of game on YouTube, havens trys ,looks like try line defence needs to be lot tighter, to loose around the play the ball,even tho they played well Stephenson an Henson got caught 3 times on try line for easy trys.decent game to watch,well done town keep building and improving

Thought town were fantastic at the weekend, could clearly see they wanted it more. Thought the atmosphere and vocal support from the town fans was what the players responded to and got them over the line.

As for Haven, rumours flying around again and it seems like lessons haven't been learned.

Town could be in with a good play-off shout if all players are kept fit.

Hope Town have a good season, West Cumbria needs a strong semi-pro presence to give the kids of the area something to aim for, hopefully Haven and Town can both provide that.
