Newcomers especially welcome. You can do a one off tip, tip occasionally or tip every week, whatever suits you.

We've a great bunch of tipsters on here.

GET YOUR TIPS IN EARLY THIS WEEK - The first of three Thursday games kicks off at 5:00am UK time which is 2:00pm local time in Australia

Fixtures Round 8 2024

E1fue29.png N.B. Three Matches on Thursday

The first game kicks off earlier than usual for a Thursday game.

Thursday R8 games:  5am, 7am and 10:50am UK times

Thursday R8 games: 2pm, 4pm and 7:50pm Aussie times

                                       Bye BULLDOGS

All you need to do is:

1. Name the 8 winning teams (a drawn game after extra time counts as a win for both teams for the sake of our comp)

2. How many points will be scored by all the teams added together in R8? (Used as tie breaker if necessary)

3. How many AWAY wins will there be in the round? When a game is played on the road the first team  is taken as the home team.

4. Poll: Which game will produce the lowest total of points? Enter in your post and also at the top of the topic.

Entries welcome until the first game of the round kicks off this Thursday 25th April.

We keep and display records of our progress and make awards images.  There's a tipping ladder kept throughout the season too.

Right then, have a go… and …

Enjoy your Rugby League

POLL

Dolphins v Knights

Hi WTR, There's only 7 tips there. I'm guessing you meant to go for Broncos looking at your Away Wins prediction. Please either edit your post or put a separate post predicting the outcome of Tigers v Broncos

Hope you see this before kick off on Saturday.

Thanks,

Graham

Winners - New Zealand Warriors, Sydney Roosters, Melbourne Storm, Manly Sea Eagles, Brisbane Broncos, Penrith Panthers, Dolphins, Cronulla Sharks

Away Wins - 3

Points  -340

Poll - St George-Illawarra v Sydney Roosters

I think I will regret some of these tips as genuinely torn about the Dragons v Roosters, Dolphins v Knights and Raiders v Sharks games Could go either way but Roosters have to win, Dolphins can score points no matter what XII plays and Raiders have an inexperienced halves pairing

Ah, I didn't know there were three games this Thursday for Anzac Day.

I know that this can't be counted, but I'll have a stab at predictions. I haven't seen any of the results of the early games on Thursday.

1. Name the 8 winning teams (a drawn game after extra time counts as a win for both teams for the sake of our comp)

WARRIORS, ROOSTERS, STORM, SEA EAGLES, BRONCOS, PANTHERS, DOLPHINS, SHARKS

2. How many points will be scored by all the teams added together in R8? (Used as tie breaker if necessary)

324 POINTS

3. How many AWAY wins will there be in the round? When a game is played on the road the first team  is taken as the home team.

4 AWAY WINS

4. Poll: Which game will produce the lowest total of points? Enter in your post and also at the top of the topic.

Thanks for bending things to let me in, Graham. I'll have to remember to check the schedule in future for special rounds!

Just saw the early results. What a win for the Titans that must have been. I wouldn't imagine too many would have called that.
