Club Statement

As previously announced, the current Chairman, Mark Campbell, had expressed a commitment to stand down as Chair of the Board. We can now announce that, with immediate effect, Paddy Handley will become Chair of the Club and will be supported by existing Director, Steven Clough, as Vice Chair.

Out of interest, and not a critique of the people involved. Who are the board? Have they just decided that Handley is now the chairman? What about all the people that bought shares in the club, should they be consulted on this? Again my questions are from a lack of knowledge and not suggesting any wrong doing.

Stating without any prejudice: there hasn't been a shareholder vote to appoint board members, nor an AGM (required by the articles of association and/or company law) for many years. 

As for the current Board*, Companies House lists the active officials as:

Mark Campbell - Director (with significant influence or control)

Steven Clough - Director

Colm Corran - Director

Anthony Gale - Secretary

*I believe this is a smaller number of directors than the AoA states ( which Ithink is supposed to be 6, with 3 'A' and 3 'B' directors but others will probably be better clued up)

I am not looking for income. I have supported Rovers since 1938 and have contributed to income and participated in all improvements. Ok so I am an old supporter, but with 2 degrees and over 40 years business experience in many aspects I will help the Rovers if needed. I have awards for marketing, improvement in income and volunteer teaching at junior school as well as being a senior bank manager. In addition I have been a miner a railway clerk and a soldier with active service. A varied lifetrime, my brain is still working and I am active. If any volunteer help is need from the club  love le

I know your intentions are good but I don't think posting contact details on a public forum is a good idea.

Yeah we know where your coming from ,but you must have seen how life as changed more then most. Got to be careful these days with ANY personal information on social media,there's some pretty nasty people out their.

OK, got the message. The two items I gave are shown in other areas. But things are a bit queasy these days. There is no thoughts for pensioners by any authority. Older people are just dismissed as of no concern in spite of their experience. I will just leave it.

If you are worried about what you put on a post just press on the three dots on the top right of your post it will give you the option to edit. Press on edit Colin and use your back space to delete the wording you require deleting then press save. The remainder of your post will stay with the confidential stuff deleted. I apologise if you are already aware of this.

I see that Mark Campbells legal issues now seem to have ben resolved, with a fine. The Companies House site for the club, still does not show any changes though. Is this something that takes a long time to be updated?.

In short, no it isn't. Should be done within 24 hours of notification.

Within 14 days although, fortunately, I don't think there are any penalties for late notifications of director changes....

To clarify, 14 days for the club to notify companies house of changes. Next working day for companies house to update the online records.

I was looking other day and he was removed as a director of the rovers foundation on 7th October. Wondering if they’ve taken him off the wrong one

To be fair Rf what your talking about has nowt to do with FEV  sometimes you get a glitch when you search for FEV and that old page pops up  happened to me a couple of times  but got to  admit web site does look to be bottom of list last real post Bradford Bulls vs Featherstone Rovers - Ticketing Information 30/9/24 but rest is pathetic match report whitehaven 28/04/24 and match preview leigh 04/02/22 and don't get me started on the  squad info 

Having said that Rf younger members of my tribe tell me FEV are all over twitter facebook tiktok instagram and u tube
