That was such an enjoyable occasion to be present at. Great contest until Leeds took it away from Halifax. Some of the tries were just brilliant and the skill levels are incredible at times.

Brilliant event to be at - this is a form of RL we really should be proud of.

Thought Leeds were very good even in the first half - had more of the ball but Halifax were incredibly quick and made the possession they had count. I think in the second half, Leeds just starved them of any ball and just seemed to have more energy in the final 20, but some of the skill from Collins and Butler (who seemed to have his tags glued on at times) was brilliant.

A really good final.

Well done to Sheffield Eagles, who won the Championship final in Golden Point overtime 38-36 against Gravesend. Only been going a couple of years and took some massive beatings at first. Now have the main team and a development team.

They could do with the VR in wheelchair rugby. At least 2 of Leeds tries would’ve been ruled out. Hawkins was unlucky on both occasions. Best player on the pitch by far

One try may have been chalked off on VR, the first would probably have gone up as a try and have been given. The second   - the tackle probably was just before the ball was grounded... just!

I definitely think Collins deserve Player of the Match....Hawkins was pretty much played out of the game in the second half.
