I’m a bit gutted about this, I always enjoyed watching him play for the Eels when I saw them on Sky and was quite excited about having a player like him in SL.

Feel the same as Eddie, gutted for him. Enjoyed him playing for the Eels,  wasn't it Sivo corner the fans named whatever cirner he attacked. Remember watching a programme either on Premier or YouTube how he sent a lot of his wage back to Fiji.

May he recover and play again good luck to the lad.

Gutted for him. Leeds and SL watchers in general, was looking forward to seeing him play.

That is really bad luck for Sivo.

He was becoming unlucky with injuries in his last couple of years at Parramatta.

how much does been "conditioned to the max" contribute to snapping this and straining that? never heard of players in the 80s with half these problems

Physically the game is faster and more intense than ever. Frankly the 80s etc is like part timers compared to full time pros now. 

That means that whilst players are generally bigger and stronger, that means they are getting hit by players who are bigger and stronger too.

Bit harsh when what you are effectively laughing at is a player who isn't exactly young having to miss a whole year of his career, in an injury some players retire from.

not to mention missing a player who could have been box office and made the turnstiles click at every ground in SL

Such a big blow, i was really looking forward to seeing him play. I think i could take some of the blame because i put £20 each way on him to be SL’s top try scorer 14/1. 
Whoever i put a bet on people always say to me “the poor lad you’ve put the Josef curse on him”. 
Is there any chance he could get back for the end of the season!!!!.
