Eddie Posted January 27 Posted January 27 I’m a bit gutted about this, I always enjoyed watching him play for the Eels when I saw them on Sky and was quite excited about having a player like him in SL. 1
Irish Saint Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Feel the same as Eddie, gutted for him. Enjoyed him playing for the Eels, wasn't it Sivo corner the fans named whatever cirner he attacked. Remember watching a programme either on Premier or YouTube how he sent a lot of his wage back to Fiji. May he recover and play again good luck to the lad. 2 Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor but because we cannot satisfy the rich.
graveyard johnny Posted January 28 Posted January 28 suggested Charlie Staines agent has been in touch with Leeds - not sure about this one I know Bono and he knows Ono and she knows Enos phone goes thus
dkw Posted January 28 Posted January 28 Gutted for him. Leeds and SL watchers in general, was looking forward to seeing him play.
Jonty58 Posted January 28 Posted January 28 That is really bad luck for Sivo. He was becoming unlucky with injuries in his last couple of years at Parramatta.
graveyard johnny Posted January 28 Posted January 28 how much does been "conditioned to the max" contribute to snapping this and straining that? never heard of players in the 80s with half these problems I know Bono and he knows Ono and she knows Enos phone goes thus

Frankly the 80s etc is like part timers compared to full time pros now. That means that whilst players are generally bigger and stronger, that means they are getting hit by players who are bigger and stronger too. 1
Damien Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Just now, Coggo said: Haha. Another top Leeds signing. What is funny about it? It's hardly Leeds fault that he's done his ACL and is just one of those things. 1

Bit harsh when what you are effectively laughing at is a player who isn't exactly young having to miss a whole year of his career, in an injury some players retire from. 2

Josef K Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Such a big blow, i was really looking forward to seeing him play. I think i could take some of the blame because i put £20 each way on him to be SL’s top try scorer 14/1. Whoever i put a bet on people always say to me “the poor lad you’ve put the Josef curse on him”. Is there any chance he could get back for the end of the season!!!!. 1
