Janis Joplin would have been seventy today. I'm going to have a requiem blast this afternoon.

Thin Lizzy - Black Rose £1 from my favorite second hand shop, quick clean not a pop or a crackle, I do love a bargain.

There are some great tunes on that album (but we won't talk about 'Sarah').

And now for something completely different; 'Gesi Baglari' by Selda Bagcan. Laid-back and haunting, especially when the flute comes in. No idea what the video's all about, mind...

I've never been able to get past how much it made me cringe when I first heard it.

I too am a happy man. I picked up the Ethel the Frog LP at the fair.

This is Grouplove. Very reminiscent of the Pixies, but more tuneful. Their first album 'Never Trust a Happy Song" is consistently brilliant throughout.

I just
- go on Youtube
- highlight the URL in the box above the video
- right click the mouse and press "copy"
- open the TRL "Reply" box
- right click the mouse and press "paste"

Always worked for me.

I think (and I haven't had time to check this) that it only works if there's one video per post. I seem to remember encountering a similar problem a few months ago, and having to edit my post.
