bendyas
A lot of Belle and Sebastian for some reason. Throw in a bit of Eblow and that's been for last week or so.

Stevo
I've not really listened to anything else all week. I really didn't think they had another great album in them, but it's an outstanding piece of work IMO. hmm - not convinced yet, though will give it another listen or two. It's a beast though innit - most tracks 7 mins plus? Sounds curiously Slayer-like in places, especially some of Hetfield's vocals. It's not a question of coming down to earth, Mr Duxbury. Some of us, Mr Duxbury, belong in the stars.

Mikeyg
Sounds curiously Slayer-like in places, especially some of Hetfield's vocals. That would probably be the Rick Rubin influence. I'm currently moving onto TV on the Radio's new album, currently on their Myspace page. It's some very good stuff and I suspect I'll be getting this album shortly. Futtocks
NuYorican Soul's self-titled album, followed by Incognita - Tribes, Vibes and Scribes. Good, uplifting stuff that puts a smile on your face. "We are easily breakable, by illness or falling, or a million other ways of leaving this earthly life. We are just so much mashed potato." Ullman
hmm - not convinced yet, though will give it another listen or two. It's a beast though innit - most tracks 7 mins plus? It certainly is. It's almost as if they've gone back to And Justice For All and picked up where they left off in that respect. Sounds curiously Slayer-like in places, especially some of Hetfield's vocals. That struck me in one or two moments on the album too. East Coast Tiger
I have to listen to a song over and over again to get it out of my head. Currently I have two for some reason. Totally random too. This one which is obviously a cover. and This one I must have listened to these about 20 times each in the last two days. In a couple of days it'll be a different one (or two). Demos for The Hissing Of Summer Lawns, in simpler arrangements and interestingly different. "We are easily breakable, by illness or falling, or a million other ways of leaving this earthly life. Bedford Roughyed
Fleet foxes - White Winter Hymnal Bon Iver - Skinny Love I think I'll grow a beard, not sure if it will help me play guitar any better....but it works for these guys! With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!
Bedford Roughyed
3 great performances from Jools hollands show. All 3 were people/bands I had never heard of, but made me go out and buy their albums. Seasick Steve K T Tunstall (her first UK Tv performance and a last minute booking on the show...and she nails it) The Darkness (completely daft, but infectious! I changed channels and caught this..first thoughts were 'what the f...') 1 With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game.
