Chris Heighington played Country Origin and The Prime Ministers XIII v PNG.

His father moved to Australia in his 20's from Durham.

We have always been solid in the Forwards, why did we need to select an opportunist when he realised he would not get the call from the NSW Blues in 2011?

Talent is secondary to whether players are confident.

Not many here agreed with it but he was in good form and qualified through a parent. I think the way he disappeared quickly meant we did have better forwards in the end. But he did qualify so that is the selector's choice. This is entirely different to residency.

go for it -genuinely interested in that

Geoff carr actually told the nswrl not to pick UATE because he was ineligible by virtue of playing for fiji in the 2009 pacific cup...nswrl & arl picked him anyway.

The act of banning players from repping origin and for another nation is ILLEGAL under RLIF laws..

The act of banning the likes of milford from playing for samoa, like wayne bennett has done this week is ILLEGAL under RLIF law..

Ricky stuart has banned bj leilua from this weeks test but has let several players play city v country..

The nswrl told the tongan rl that feleti meteo was banned from the last world cup when he wasn't..

And theres a handful of times fuifui moi moi & the NZRL have broke the laws on their own...without mentioning grannygate or jeremy smith who swapping willy nilly..

Like i said...england have never actually broke any laws

OLDHAM RLFC

the 8TH most successful team in british RL

What a find Wacko! Thank god this seems to be in the pipeline too.

Les Féminines effectueront une tournée en Angleterre du 13 au 19 juin afin d’affronter les England Women et l’England University.

It would have been better to give the fixtures a higher profile by playing them before a big SL fixture or even at the Magic weekend. The Aus v NZ women's test is before the Anzac test this Friday.

England have been hit by a lack of mid season games recently due to the successful SL restructure. But assuming the new schedule kicks in after World Cup as planned and we get the mid-season test v NZ that origin will allow, assuming an end of season warm up friendly, future should look like the following:

2017: 6 (7 with WC final)

2018: 5

2019: 6 (7 with Confed Cup final)

2020: 5

2021: 7 (8 with WC final)

Looks pretty good to me

That's great that we have a warm up scheduled for 4 Nations. Oz and NZ warming up against each other in Perth so they'll both be hitting the straps. So an away game in France will hopefully be a much better test than last year and will allow us to be at full speed for what will be a key test against NZ the following week.

Suspect RFL will announce it when Bennett is over in June
