ivans82
highlights of the batley v fax game are on the batley forum , look to have a big pack , walker looks to be the man to watch and of course reittie on the wing always causes problems.....reittie though was put on report for an off the ball incident according to the match report .sundays game too close to call for me , but our confidence must be up now , and i think the lads will get the points. town4me
We have to make home advantage count and keep the performance level of the last few games going. A good result for the dogs against fax but we gave fax a good game and on their own patch too. It's no easy game but if we keep the momentum going I can't see any reason why we can't turn them over at DP.

Anonymouse
too tight to call , lets see the selection near the time , batley imo when on song are the 3rd best team in this league but lets hope the home advantage and recent form gets town over the line . unicorn106
Unfortunately Batley seem to have hit top form again so it's going to be tough, I'm just praying for 2 more points before the Blackers game, it would give us so much confidence before we face haven. Let's get behind them on Sunday. UTT
Seaton Sandy
An unearthly silence has descended on this forum. Even the ever-present Townie 123 and his clone have dried up.(What a shame!) Any craic from the Dogs Sir Jekyll ? Is Reittie suspended ? Has Kear had his dome polished for the trip to the Zebra stable? Any news about our squad strength for Sunday? All contributions welcome. Hi there, Sandy. It does seem to have gone a bit quiet on here. Probably 'cos you've actually won another game, and there's less to moan about. With a bit of luck the 'Dogs will give you a good savaging on Sunday and you can all get back to the usual doom and gloom. As for Reittie, as Ernieone suggests, if he's fit he'll be playing. He was a bit late with his challenge on Little Gareth, and deserved a penalty, but nothing more. To be fair to Reittie, he got there as fast as he could. There are links to the video of the game on the Batley forum if you want to suss out your next opponents. Improved out of sight this year and Brambini has been a great buy. Big ask for Town to get within 10 points so I wouldn't be putting too much on the game there are bigger fish to fry the week after , Batley will continue to do very very well this year
Townie123
No one comments on the forum for 2 days but it's me who gets singled out for not posting ..... It's not my fault I'm not orgasmic over a win away at a very seemingly poor Sheffield team ... Everyone now seems to think batley is a for gone conclusion ... Like I've said if we lose Sunday last weeks result is immaterial
The Voodooguru
How's it immaterial? Every win contributes to a points total, we won't win every game or hopefully lose every game. If we stay up by 2 points or less they are far from immaterial. The race is not always to the swift nor the battle to the strong, but thats the way to bet! Piggy's mate
We need to keep pace with Fev and Fax if we are to have any chance of 4th spot and the money that will come with playing Leeds et al. Although admittedly Worky is a tough place to go I think we have our mojo back and the dogs will win with a late flourish and 26 points Touch Rugby W(h)inger and part-time Super Hero (Thursday mornings by appointment) BATLEY BULLDOGS RLFC

Like I've said if we lose Sunday last weeks result is immaterial You're mentioned in despatches because you are conspicuous by your absence. You can take that any way you like. 4 days ago you described the Sheffield win as "Awesome"--now you claim it was achieved against a poor team-despite the fact that they are full-time. Let's hope that after a Town win on Sunday you don't have to reach for the Viagra .

Wasn't it our neighbours who got within a single point of them twice on batleys pitch and correct me if I am wrong but we were still well in the league game down there at HT with a depleted squad.if we take the same form of the last two games Into this one we could be in with a shout. They also have to make the terrible journey up to cumbria and play on a very small pitch too. Just saying.
donald
I've seen batley twice this season and theyre nowt special we threw away the second game turned round 18pts went into the lead downhill and totally botched it up last 10 mins I'll go town by
