kiyan
Have the priory opened a new branch in Yorkshire? On reflection I will have a go at my own post! Everyone deserves a chance to recover from their demons, however Rangi has been given more chances and help than most, so maybe he needs to move on and maybe we need to let\insist he does. It's a funny one. I think if he does want to come back into the game Cas might be the best place for him to do it. Familiarity and probably less pressure (with Gale and Roberts at the club). I thought he'd made the wrong choice for these reasons when he joined Leigh. I'd be happy to see him give the game one last chance, no denying how good Rangi was for Cas and I'd love to see him finish his career on a high with us. Dependant of course on his mental wellbeing. Exiled Wiganer
I hope it works out for him and Cas. They both deserve a bit of luck. Environmental factors play a huge part in people's behaviour. With a man of the quality of Powell at the helm there's a good chance it could work out. Let's face it he's an excitement machine on his day. The bloke has issues and id rather he sorted them and got back to playing as he is a great talent in the field.
Davc1h
Trained at Cas today. We could certainly use a half back at the moment! As a Cas fan, I agree Rangi was great for us back in the day. I just feel as though he may not be the type of player that Cas are looking for now. They have had more success with a more structured game recently IMHO. Having said that, in line with the other comments, everyone deserves a second chance and if coming back to Cas allows him that, then fair play to them. terrywebbisgod
I wouldn't read too much into it(at the moment).OOC players train at their old clubs all the time, whether it's to regain fitness or just to be part of the team ethic again. Thank you for your valuable contribution.
Allora
How many chances do you get? Some poor buggers have no talent and nothing going for them but grind out an existence and get no second chances. Chase has had at least 3 or 4 chances and still can not get his act together. Not worth bothering about again IMO. Talent is secondary to whether players are confident. Kenilworth Tiger
If we're going to give someone a go to see if it works out I'd rather it were Tom Holmes, a young talented English lad who's likely to be around in a few years Now then, it's a race between Sandie....and Fairburn....and the little man is in........yeees he's in. I, just like those Castleford supporters felt that the ball should have gone to David Plange but he put the bit betwen his teeth...and it was a try Kevin Ward - best player I have ever seen The real Mick Gledhill is what you see on here, a Bradford fan ........, but deep down knows that Bradford are just not good enough to challenge the likes of Leeds & St Helens. True. Although I am told he was taking part in attacking drills (not sure you would have a half who isn't part of the team doing so if just regaining fitness). Gates1
If you need someone to fill in the role in training, why not? I think we'd use players who may actually play half back for us. Gale, Mcshane, Millington and Holmes.
Guest
Well he'll be a lot better than Millington at 6 that's for sure, not sure why Dorn doesn't play at 6 with Roberts out, but if he wants Dorn at 1 and Solomona on the wing he needs to do something about the halves

Hitchcox, Robson, Hampshire (out of favour or injured - heard both) all unavailable.

Gates1
Strange signing as the top 4 has gone. Bottom 8 is beckoning in my opinion to be honest. Plus it gives Cas rest of season to assess him with a view to next year. In terms of next year it gives us depth in half's and a plan B for full back should Eden dissapoint (Ben Roberts at full back with Rangi in the halfs).
