I think Saints will win this.

Get thee behind me Satan !

But honestly I can't call it, Leigh well and truly beaten last week and Moylan showing why he should not be picked at full back if he is undoubtedly he will be getting lots of high balls to contend with which he has shown he is far from comfortable with, and Saints getting some players back and hitting some form last week, one thing is though the LSV will be a good place to be at 20:00 on Friday night, expecting a hard fought encounter from two teams going at it from the off, I doubt it will do either of them any good for the following week with either injuries or disciplinary matters, hope it is not one of those pedantic refs and one who will let the game naturally flow.

Yeah, I am hoping for Leigh. I don't think Saints have been good enough across the season, and think Leigh are the more deserving of the two to make the play-offs.

I just think Saints might be visiting at the right time, and may have picked up on how KR attacked Moylan.

Leigh..We had a nightmare last week, other than that the  previous tranche of matches for us  were fine.

Leigh by 2 scores...

We don't need to panic as we are Leigh...

I can't see beyond a Leigh win and I think it could be quite a convincing one. Leigh by 18.

2009 Warrington 25 Hudderfield 16

2010 Warrington 30 Leeds 6

2011 League Leaders Shield Winners

2012 Warrington 35 Leeds 18

Challenge cups and league leaders shields everywhere! We need more silver polish!

Leigh won’t be replacing Saints in the play offs.

Would you back on that Bob?

It should be a cracker, depends who gets on top first, in the last game at the LSV,  Leigh never let Saints settle and were in their faces from the kick off, obviously Saints will be ready for that this time, I honestly can't call it, whoever loses hope they do their fans proud on the night.

Leigh may win I’d have them as slight favourites but that shouldn’t knock Saints out of the play offs as that would need Leeds or Catalan to win by a massive score.

Leigh would have to beat saints by a shedload and cats would have to put a massive score on Hull to overturn the points differential

Yes you are correct, just posted that on the Wire v London thread.

We only need to beat Saints, that would put us on 31 pts finishing 5th, and Saints would remain on 30 finishing 6th. Even winning Leeds or Catalan will get them on 30 points but Saints it's difference is massive.

I quite like Saints and Catalans this weekend. My understanding was that if Saints win they knock Leigh out - unless the unimaginable happens and FC beat Catalans. I haven't looked into all the points permutations though.

Hard one to call this. We were far improved last week (yes, it was only Castleford but our attack had more speed and options that I have seen for most of the season). I would like to think we would have motivation to get a home play off tie and to make up for embarrassing display at Leigh last time.

With Catalans playing Hull, Leigh are essentially starting the play offs a week earlier, win or bust. I think we are in for a brilliant game.

IF Saints can win, I would feel a lot more confident about the play offs than I do now!

Ah, I see now. Points difference has them safe in 5th, and the battle is for the last spot.

Safe in 6th at least. If Saints win though that would open up the door for Leeds and Catalan.

A Saints defeat would condemn them to their worst regular season finish in the Super League era.

Equal worse finish didn’t they finish the regular season in 6th in 2017.
