Having done the city the last 3 times, this time I am staying near the airport, which is also a walk (mile or so) from the ground. Blagnac is a very small town / village but looks to have quite a few restaurants and bars. Dont think I will bother venturing into the city at all this time. Having said that, the Melting Pot was a very good craic, especially with a few thousand Leinster fans in town for the kick and clap.

Does anyone know the routine for match entrance / tickets? Is it just simply pay on the gate?

Imagine kids with season tickets will need to go somewhere to get a ticket first, which will be fun. It's hard enough explaining "kids get in free" in England / English.

Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.

Option one.

"Bonjour, monsieur. Deux billets gratuits pour mes enfants, s'il vous plaits."

If that fails...

Option two (speaking loudly and slowly).

"Listen pal, two... free... tickets... for...my... kids."

From my observations an abilty to speak or write English has never been a requirement on this forum either.

Ibis Toulouse Centre is a good base, next door to the bus station where buses run virtually right to the stadium in Blagnac and all of 5 minutes stumbling from the Melting Pot. Stayed in 2009 and have tried a few others since (the Ibis opposite the station and the Novotel Caffarelli) but return to the Toulouse Centre for our Challenge Cup game there last year. Usually easy enough to get Ibis voucher codes online as well and cashback with Quidco etc.
