spanishknight Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 As well as the 3 new lads, Kevin Brown is in the squad, it looks a lot stronger than I hoped it would be.

YCKonstantine Posted May 18, 2019 Posted May 18, 2019 What a load of rubbish. Haven't looked like scoring once.
Rooney's Ears Posted May 18, 2019 Posted May 18, 2019 Destroyed by better half backs with better skill and pace. We look clueless. CHAMPIONS 2005
YCKonstantine Posted May 18, 2019 Posted May 18, 2019 Just now, Rooney's Ears said: Destroyed by better half backs with better skill and pace. We look clueless. Its embarrassing.
AB Knight Posted May 18, 2019 Posted May 18, 2019 This is starting to be worse than Good Friday. Really think for the last 20 we need Harris and Marsh to swap positions. Also why hasn't Mazive been selected?!
BridKnight Posted May 18, 2019 Posted May 18, 2019 Give some credit to Featherstone. Chisholm is a top player and they’ve made good use of Dual Reg. Different class today. TBH many of us thought it was gonna be like this every week - we have well over-performed to date.

BridKnight Posted May 18, 2019 Posted May 18, 2019 Featherstone have made us look woeful. Just as we did to a number of sides in League 1 last season. At least we’re finishing marginally stronger!
Shadow45 Posted May 18, 2019 Posted May 18, 2019 Too many of our influential players are out injured, then add three loans to the team and it's no surprise we were well beat my a very good Featherstone Rovers team. We defended well in the first half against a bigger side which then took it's toll in the second half. Featherstone are a very good side and I'd be delighted if we finish the season one place below them.
Fax Knight Posted May 18, 2019 Posted May 18, 2019 York have massively over-performed this season, but it was men against boys today. You can't take an undersized, patched up team (quite a few of whom had only played championship 1 or amateur rl until recently) and expect to win every week against teams of hardenend championship pros / ex-superleague players. We should be looking to next season and get some sponsors on board so that we sign the like of Chisholm on full-time contracts and build on what ha been a great season.
Nearenough Posted May 18, 2019 Posted May 18, 2019 Outplayed by a better side. Thank goodness we don't play em every week.
Fenton Knight Posted May 18, 2019 Posted May 18, 2019 Watford were walloped 6-0 in the FA Cup final but would expect their fans would by happy with the season they have had. Everyone knew we had a small squad and we have been severely tested by injuries this season. The club are doing all they can with the budget that is available to them. But if there’s any lottery winners out there who want to give to an extremely good cause, please put a few quid into squadbuilder.

You guys have gone very well so far and good luck for the rest of the season.
YCKonstantine Posted May 18, 2019 Posted May 18, 2019 Regardless of any other result this season, or last season or any season. What we served up today was disappointing.
georgeb1 Posted May 19, 2019 Author Posted May 19, 2019 Great day out enjoyed it , result was irelevent. Going back for more today. York and proud.
The Phantom Horseman Posted May 19, 2019 Posted May 19, 2019 As a Fev fan I thought York played very well for the first 30 minutes and were restricting us when we were in possession with good line speed. Once the game opened up a bit, the difference in quality at the skill positions was obvious, but you've been a bit unlucky to catch us on two good days and that was a strong team we had out today, Chisholm and Holmes have made a big difference for us and we looked like beating Toronto at our place until the last few minutes. Think York will still knock off another win or two against other top 8 teams and it might be a very different contest when we come to Bootham Crescent. "I won’t engage in a debate because the above is correct and if anything else is stated to the contrary it’s incorrect."
