I used to collect stamps as a child/teenager and now and then a stamp turned up with Cochin Anchal printed on them. It was years before I discovered it was a princely state in Kerala, India.

The Khasi are a range of mountains in India. Welsh missionaries opened schools there and apparently the Welsh National Anthem is still the "school song" in a few of them.

It's therefore not stretching too much of a point to say that Indian children are taught to sing in the Khasi.
