Why are Warrington on the Twitch game again? 🤣

Wakefield and York should be a close game, and a good indicator of where both teams are.

Is Warrington the twitch game? Oh well.

Be interested in seeing how York go given how they seemed to live with Leeds for a bit before falling away.

The fixtures section on the RFL site doesn`t list the Warrington/Huddersfield as being on Twitch. I also can`t get the results section to work - just keeps going back to 2020 listings.

I only know the game is on Twitch from watching part of the preview show where it was mentioned. They have an interview with Huddersfield`s Andrea Mena, who`s apparently from Somerset and got into RL via Huddersfield Uni.

I checked the actual Twitch channel yesterday and although there is a game blocked in the schedule it's not said which game it is and nor does it show up as upcoming when you open the channel. All of which is a bit annoying.

Do we know much about the Giants?

It seems like a lot of results will be a lottery before things settle down. There has been a lot of movement of better quality players in recent seasons as new clubs form. Didn't Bradford used to be a powerhouse at one time?

Looks like it's the Warrington one on Twitch

Very the young team put out by the Giants but the new players were all very good players at their community clubs. Its a huge step up for them though. Its the very reason the under 18's game in the community has to be given a chance and girls have to be given a chance to play at that level first before going to SL at 16.

A mix of youth and experience, some of them stepped up from the Giants' U19's and a lot from community clubs in the area.

Regards Andrea Mena, she was, (I don't know if she still is) involved in the Giants media set up, I remember her doing an interview my myself and other members of HGSA a couple of years ago after we linked up and did some food bank donations with a local charity and food bank.

HGSA are also hosting a Zoom chat with Coach Ryan White and Captain Bethan Oates next week.

She's a decent player, isn't she?

Huddersfield's most dangerous runner, in a beaten side. One to watch.

Massively pleased for her and her family, they’re lovely people and really sporty, her brother Jacob plays for Stoke City

Having, for the time being, given up on the men`s game in the UK, I want to support the women`s game. But some of these rollballs are so awful, it`s testing my patience. It gives an impression of such incompetence that some of the players can`t or won`t meet the basic criteria.

Some of the comments on Twitch are from overseas. How can they pick up the rules of RL when some players ignore them and the ref doesn`t enforce them?

The ref didn`t help the game either by continually failing to apply advantage. These two teams are still finding their way, so there were a lot of handling errors. Unless there`s a clear disadvantage to the non-offending team, it should be play-on, zero tackle. But his instinct was to stop and arrange a slow-motion handover whenever the ball went to ground.
