Impressive defensive effort from Wire, defending a back to one from Matautia's hand and ref inspired set restart.

Catalans bomb another try but it would appear the writing is already on the wall for Wire.

Enjoying a beer, watching on TV with a family party in the garden mate. Good times, irrespective of the 2nd half.

Can it really be that hard for Bill Arthur to distinguish Thewlis from Wrench? They are not exactly lookalikes.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

This ref seems to have an identity crisis if he goes three minutes without giving a penalty.

Him or Reynold at Hull.

Reynolds was here last year.

Tomkins has been excellent defensively.

Lost a bit of speed but has all the experience in the World.

Still a fantastic player.

Matautia penalty sees it tied up at 8 apiece, 28 mins left.

Great break by Walker leads to a manic end to the set by Wire, Les Cats hold out.

You just feel that Wire will concede a try shortly.

Samkins obliges, 14-8, 23 mins left.

I think this will now end up a 2/3 score win for Les Cats.
