Not to sure about today as I don’t really follow super league that much but back in the 90’s I can remember the likes of former Leeds Utd player Gordon strachan attending a challenge cup semi-final at elland Rd and can remember seeing nick faldo at a few finals.

Also Peter Reid and Peter Beardsley were/are fans.

He was a fictional character and was an ex player rather than fan - but yeah we have to take what we can get in RL.

Keane bigged up RL on last night's MNF as one of his favourite three sports. Typically, the show's host want to focus on the other two.
