Leigh are well capable of winning every single game this season , as long as they can keep a fully fit squad , that probably applies to every club , I'm hoping to see us beat Catalans on Sunday

So you do know some that do start up malicious rumours ?

I don't know how you read that into what I posted, but hey-ho.

Odd thing to say considering they have already lost one game.

My final words on this match are that the commentry from Sky was well........appalling, here's some examples:

-  The Leigh team were called 'Leigh Centurians' on numerous occasions.

-'Sneyd is on his way to the bin and Salford are down to 10'.

- Salford's 150th anniversary shirt they played in was called 'their snazzy new away kit'.

Gimme strength.

I hope they didn't have anything to say about Leigh's managerial set up. It would have been absolute carnage if they got that wrong.

If you only have one mate , then that's understandable, I have lots of mates , some I can trust , some I can't

On any given day I believe Leigh could beat any team in SL , don't you believe Wigan could beat any other team in SL ?

Yes but according to your posts on this thread up to now I have to say I don't believe ..... you're over the loss as soon as  Tuesday.

Leigh can beat any side on their day.

That's like saying it could rain on any given day which is true, truth is it won't rain every given day.

I know what it is you mean, but it just seems odd to say it after getting tonked by a given team on a given day,

In answer to your question about Wigan, my take would be we are capable of losing to anyone on any given day.

I'd hardly describe a 3 tries vs 2 tries loss as a tonking and I should know, I've spent much of my life watching Leigh get tonked. It was a competitive game.

I thought Leigh looked pretty good for the first game of the season to be fair.

Is it really his chat up line, or is your comment just tongue in cheek? 🤣

Talking of Westerman, what was the reception like (and comments) he received from the Hull crowd.

This is  directed to any FC fans.

Fair assessment I thought we copped some crucial bad ones like the Ipape knock on when we had position and tackles, the 6 again after a massive forward pass that led to the crucial score before HT and was Ryan’s try created out of crossing? Our spine was not firing at all, OBrien was non existent - Reynolds should have played, Ipape needs to start and we need our star prop fit asap as Ben looks a liability he’s that slow

At least your pack smashed ours though eh Sweaty? Got to look at the positives fella.👍

You heading over for the game @GUBRATS? Any idea how many Leigh fans are making the trip?

I'm sure plenty of you have done the trip before but you've definitely picked the worst draw with the Feb game. Even the most hardy Leyther will be a brave man if he packs his shorts.😁

We have Catalans away again in June. Suspect the vast majority of people making one trip will choose that one. I have anyway.

Good man.👍 We've had a few Feb/March games over there and it gets pretty nippy at night but can be reasonable during the day if you catch one of the sun traps in Lloret (where I assume most will be staying).

On the plus side you don't have to put up with all the young 'uns clubbing that time of year.👍
