The Knights v Eagles cup tie has been chosen to be shown on the BBC Red button or iplayer, K.O. 12:30 great news for me as I can't get to any games just yet.

Also great news for the barmy army as more tavern time available.

Just watched the Super League show, wonder if H.K.R. would loan us Mikey Lewis for a couple of months?. 🙂

Probably more chance of me getting a runout, John.

My hopes: I’m not expecting a win but we need to compete against Sheffield and push them close. I hope music (be it via the brass band or on CD) is played before the match and during half time only. Hopefully the crowd is over 1000 (which gets announced). Lastly, no more injuries would do nicely 👌

I think the pressure is on us. Sheffield are playing well , and our ex players are having a good season. Chris Brass is a player I wish we still had especially now that we need cover all over our back positions. I think he will be the one who makes all the difference between the teams and possibly be the game winner, but I hope I am wrong

Think you mean Jason Bass, Chris Brass was the York City player manager in the early 2000s.

Fair play to him if he’s now doing a job in the back line for Sheffield Eagles though.

To be honest I wouldn’t mind Jon Parkin in the front row to give us a few more options!

When the draw was made thought we had a good draw, but on recent form we will probably start as underdogs, hope he starts players in the right positions ie Bailey second row as we have 4props in the squad today.

Yep. Feel Bailey's pace running at the edges is being wasted starting at prop.  He's more than just a battering ram.
