The pace and intensity of the game looks too much for Brisbane at the minute. You have to love the leniency in the officiating regards penalties. A Superleague game would’ve had about 5 extra penalties so far (even in a GF).

After starting well, too many broncos players making duff decisions here. 

I don’t get this persistent short drop out theory. Too often it ends in a penalty in front of the sticks.

Send it deep and draw two tackles out of them.

It's been my fear for a little while now that Penrith are so efficient and polished that they are going to render the Grand Final a non event and win it by 20+ I hadn't counted on Brisbane being absolutely god awful though. They can probably take heart from the fact that they can't really play any worse and yet the game isn't gone yet.

To credit Penrith they’ve been solid if not spectacular with ball in hand so far and very hard in the tackle.

If you asked Penrith what they’d want Brisbane to do, it would be to go short. Even if Brisbane get the ball, Penrith will just fire in to them and pin them down at that end.

I get the impression Penrith haven’t even got out of first gear yet. 
 

Brisbane their own worst enemies and seem a bit overawed. Hopefully half time might help them.
