Didn't you just copy and paste from some idiot on a forum? 😆

On SL+!

I mean, there’s the possibility of a TV channel coming in but … god, this is dire.

Well the French RL did say as much back in January 😂

It's just so RL that it takes 3 more months to officially confirm.

Yeah it would be really poor. I'd imagine, or maybe hope, that the BBC will pick this up but let's see. I'm fairly certain that they showed this match the last time we played in Toulouse.

Lets hope it gets picked up for TV.  As if our national side for a full international only being available on a streaming platform would be a new low (if that is possible) for England international RL.

Fair enough, must be getting mixed up with another England v France game.

It delivers everything and more that you'd expect from an FFRXIII-RFL collaboration:

No tickets.

No TV.

No Toulouse players.

No doubt it will fall flat and the conclusion will be that there's no demand for international RL.

Indeed - this is an embarrassing quote:

Rhodri Jones, RL Commercial Managing Director, adds: “I’m sure that there will be plenty of England supporters inside the Stade Ernest-Wallon to cheer on our Men and Women, and I’m thrilled that those supporters who can’t be there will be able to follow the action on Super League+. It’s a blank weekend in the 2024 fixture schedule, so Super League+ is the place to be for live Rugby League on Saturday 29 June.”

How on earth are fans meant to go when this announcement doesn't mention anything about tickets - where can we get them, when are they on sale etc?

Real basic stuff. Absolute rubbish.

I read a response on facebook where some dude asked about tickets and some kindly random Frenchman said he would look into it and report back. That is how RL ticket sales work!

You missed out the part where people who aren’t going or who are underwhelmed get lambasted and somehow become the reason for its failure.

In all seriousness has Jones ever said anything that isn't embarrassing?

What’s the potential France line up? I think they should be able to put out a competitive team

How? Presumably the only other French professional side in Toulouse won't be releasing players. France are up against it anyway without cutting their player pool in half. French domestic league players are way off this level.
