Nice to see Tom Forber contribute to Wigans GF victory. Looked sharp for us this year be interesting to see if we keep DR with Wigan next year (I hope so).

Hope they don't dump us at the start of the season like they did last year.  Fortunately their other venture didn't work out but we'll possibly be competing with Oldham now.

That's a good fit for us if so. They have served us well in recent seasons both loans and signings. Cresta and Rowley are good mates I believe.

Would take Jamie Pye back in a heartbeat.

The thought occurred to me that there may be something in this with the George Hirst signing. Plus Sean Long and Matty Peet are close mates.

Salford duel reg now been confirmed by the club. Great news imo.

It's amazing how many of the current Salford squad have Barrow connections.

A quarter of them have played for us at one time or another on their respective paths to SL first team status.

Back in the 80s, The Willows was also the only top flight ground I've ever got into for free.

There used to be a club at one end of the ground. Coach got us there at 12:00 for opening time and we all went in, straight to the bar etc.

About half an hour before the kick off, we realised that people were freely coming and going to the bar from inside the ground.

We basically walked into the stadium unchallenged before kick off. No one checking tickets or anything.

RL Express seems to think they might fold or not see out the season.

Worry times.

Does make you wonder how they've still got a SL spot after the gradings .

They clearly have financial woes that seem to have gone by the grading radar .

There crowds aren't great, don't own their ground .

Seems very odd to me , nevertheless hope they can put it all behind them as most RL fans have a soft spot for everything they manage to do onfield ,and obviously a stable and strong Salford is a benefit to us .

Hopefully Wakefield do the right thing and donate some ticket sales and do a bucket collection.

Id love to know what the craic is with salford dual reg. Do we still have it? If so have we paid for it? Can we not get there players who can't currently they play for them? If so why not?

A number of questions I'd love the BBC Radio Cumbria team to pose to cresta next time the speak with him.

I’d hardly class it as a dual reg we have with them we’ve only got 1 player on loan from there

Go ask the chairman at the Q & A tomorrow before the game.

At this stage I'm unsure who you would want drop for some Salford players at this stage. Team seems to be doing fairly well.

Unfortunately I can't make the game tomorrow however happy for someone to ask the question.

I'm not necessarily wanting us to drop anybody however, say a Joe Bullock or someone was available then I'm sure we'd gladly take him instead of having a back on the bench doing 5 mins at the end. Prime example Singo wasn't able to play how good would it have been to have had him on DR for a game or two? I'm not sure any fan would be disappointed with that or think we are weakening the team..

Clarification on the current DR status is all i/we desire as fans especially if we have contributed financially to the arrangement.

I’m no expert by any means but I don’t think Raiders pay to enter the arrangement, however I do think that Raiders cover the wages of the players loaned.

Now with recent events ie Stack funding and Blue and White knights funding Tee,along with the Chairmans request for extra investment.

I would probably think any extra players of that ilk would be out of reach?

London Broncos announce dual reg with Salford. I mustn't understand how dual reg works as I thought we were there DR partner.

The dual reg must have ended( that's if it ever began) as you can only dual reg with one club in a division.

As far as we know we are still dual registered with Salford but the whole Salford situation has been cloak and dagger and we have no idea what is going on behind the scenes. Just checked our registered players and there are still a number of Salford players dual registered on the system. We are of the understanding that you can only dual with one team in the same division.

Salford becoming a basket case by the sounds of it,feel sorry for the players, families and supporters.

They are obviously offloading their higher earners through transfers or duel reg to manage the situation.

Hopefully a solution is found soon but I fear for them.
