A bit high over the shoulder on the ground, but a soccer player would be proud of that grab at the face to sell it.

Madden puts the FG over after the penalty.

The first game was very enjoyable . The second game was a bit more of a grind , I felt for Manly with the decision that led to the field goal . That was so soft on last tackle to

Why teams try a chancy kick and chase from a long way out with 30 seconds left to win/draw a game is beyond me.

The best way to come up with the winner in my mind is to keep the ball in hand and keep it alive. Giving it away with a kick, instantly reduces your chances of retaining possession.

Dom Young atones for not cleaning up the kick that put the Sharks ahead, by scoring his 50th try from a great Sua'ali'i flick.

Next year Souths need to get Walker out of the 6 role. Not sure if he’s capable of playing fullback but he’s too maverick for a 6. Dodd at 7 Wighton at 6 as he’s completely wasted at centre would be the best pairing. If Walker is capable of playing 1 put him there and get Mitchell to centre.

Looking to the Warriors v Panthers game…

New Zealand Warriors have struggled to match the achievements of last season and are now in a four-game losing streak after going down to Sydney Roosters last week. The manner of that loss will be of most concern to the coaching staff and things do not get any easier as they take on reigning premiers Penrith Panthers.

It is four straight wins for the Panthers and even with the loss of Nathan Cleary, they should still be able to extend that streak.

You agree?
