Both hopefully lol.

Beckett is a good forward number 8 squad number so prop but he is a similar build to Silk and i see him more as a second row.He is a good passer of the ball and gets stuck in tackling,i like him good signing.

Who and what positions?

I sometimes think that we as fans can see that something in the team isn't right (all opinion, of course), like we need another half-back, but I reckon the professionals in positions of influence within the club have a better idea of who might be available and whether it's acheivable.  Whether those two situations match up is yet to be seen.

Much like we might look at a player and think 'why do they persists with him?', but you have to assume there is a reason for it, of which we are not aware.

Absolutely, however I'm looking forward to understanding who that user specifically wants to sign.

Fair question and thinking about it, I’m not sure. If Jones isn’t coming back, a hooker perhaps?. When all fit and not suspended, the team will look much better.

Jones posted on Instagram that his father passed away earlier this week, very sad news. You'd think he'll be out there for a while longer for the funeral etc, and I'm sure the club will support his staying out there for as long as he feels necessary, but he will presumably return in the fullness of time.

That’s terrible news for him. Like you say, Rugby will be the last thing on his mind and he should be given as much time as he needs. After all it’s just a game at the end of the day.

Maddox Jeffery. 19 year old signed from Wigan but started out with Fev Lions before he went to Wigan. In 2023 he played and scored a try for Yorkshire Academy.

You shouldn't forget that we have also signed Thomas a Becket from Canterbury, I think you missed that one😊

Correction, We got him from Dewsbury not Canterbury. (Same difference😄)
