Paul Turner has left.

Honestly want this season to end now. Felt nothing but dread with this season.

With the squad we have had this season, I honestly expected us to do ok and qualify for the play offs. But with players coming and going, dual reg upheavals, injuries, and suspensions, coupled with some dire performances it has turned into a season to forget. Survival in this division has to be the goal now, as anything else will be a bonus, but it won't be easy. We have teams to play who will love nothing more than contributing to our troubles.

So to summarise the last 24 hours... We've released our star half back and resigned out former captain from an amateur team at 38 years old.

Not sure this is progress tbh.

That said, start of the year the top 6 was the aim. At the moment, avoiding relegation will suffice, then reset and go again.

I always thought we would be out of the top 6 and play offs with the number of games we would lose.At the end of last season we had a clear out of players. As i have said before.Campbell,Ford and Vickers should have gone. Can someone paying council tax to Wakefield district council ask them what we have spent the £2million on for ground improvements.Because we won't need floodlights, hospitality boxes or new terracing. At present we can't half fill the limit of 400.Supporters are leaving at an alarming rate and we hear nothing from the top.Supporters are treated like mushrooms kept the in the dark and fed sh-t.

Season long loan of sammy kibula, exited to see him play…

NOT

24!  He's 24?  Having seen him play, I'd assumed he was nearer 34.

That applies to Nakabuwai not seen owt from him so far.I can't get my head round some of Fords signings.

Not sure if it's all down to Ford, the club  maybe just picking up unwanted players and dropping them into the squad !

Isn't that what we've been doing all year ?

I’ve been told but don’t quote me on it that the club have started to look for next season and writing this season off and just trying to survive. As the money paddy handley has brought to the club has been used to fix up training facilities, locker room and new boiler in the club. So what I’ve been told they have a little bit bigger budget for next season and have already nearly signed the full 2025 squad

Any details on these two. Ages, Heights, weights, positions they can play. . Will they be playing against Wakefield or later games?

Money for ground ,training, dressing room improvements and new boiler can be done out of the £2 million from Wakey district council that is what it is for.Wakey and Cas have used theirs on ground improvements refurbishment.

WMDC have made us close part of the PO Rd terracing ,so why on earth don't  the club  get it done with some of the money from the council? It's not like there's no room to put the supporters who usually stand there while it's done. New bulbs for the floodlights if we can't afford new floodlights. Surely we have a right to know what the money is being used for. Them running the club don't seem to care about anything let alone us paying supporters. 😒

Who cares if we're relegated. From the 2 million pound kitty we must have the best boiler in any sport. Backed by a lifetime platinum guarantee.

Just because we have a new boiler doesn’t mean we can use the hot water haha 😂

What exactly did we do with the £2m from WMDC? If it was spent on players was that allowed? Meanwhile the floodlights are awful to start with and that’s before half the bulbs that don’t work. The terracing is falling to bits, the car park is a safety hazard. Has there been ever been an official explanation where or if the WMDC money has been spent?
