Hope to see you all up at Mount

You've a chance of doing the double over us

We have no chance of doing the double and I’m afraid I shall be sitting this one out😦

Oooh, face-painting!

That sounds tempting.

Wish I was at home. I'd take an old photo from 50 or so years ago and see what they could do.

Might need a bit of polyfilla before they start on the paint though.

Take a mirror along to the game.

If you don't like what you see on the pitch, you can watch your paint dry

Billington and Jack Bibby in the Giants squad for their Friday night game. Rush still injured, I believe.

Gone to Halifax with immediate effect

In a sadistic, twisted, warped, way🤔

I hope Halifax get relegated 😉

The cut off date for signings for this season is 2nd August, so Fax will have offered a fee. A strange move really. He is a decent player and, at 21, still has plenty of improvement in him, but he won't have any instant impact that I can see. The could have signed him for nothing at the end of the season.

I wonder if they will come in for any of our lads next week?

I am sure Batley will have the upper hand on this fixture, especially after we trounced them in our only success this season. Everything is stacked against us, but then again, it couldn’t be anything else playing Batley, after all it’s never an even playing field is it!

I’m hopeful for some reason. I feel the lads will fancy the double over Batley and after improved performances recently I think it’s doable.

Creditable performance from the Rams

Agreed, GD.

I was particularly impressed with Butterworth and Ferguson. Turner's kicks caused a few problems, as well.

I felt sorry there were so few Dewsbury supporters there to applaud their team off, so stayed to show my appreciation.

I was there today and as there was so few fans there I made the effort to speak to quite a few.

What I found was most were in free tickets because they were player friends and family 🤣

Well done Rams today!

Not a bad game.Too many penalties in that first half  against the Rams. Butterworth was outstanding. I wish Walshaw, all those years ago   had stayed at Dews. Well they'll just have to beat Wakey. next.

And what do you get for creditable performances🤔

Absolutely Fluff All🤔

Second in a 2 horse race gives you nothing

A great man once said (and I wasn't me)

If you are first you are first. If you are second you are nothing.

And today we got a big fat nothing

A lot of effort and good work blown away with poor personal choices, unforced errors, and a stupid "Hail Mary" pass when we was turning the screw on Batley, game management is appalling, we launch kicks down field aimlessly, then in the final few minutes kick for touch, defeats like this hurt more than any other defeat, to be winning coming down the slope to then throw it away stings like a b#t#h

We were given false hope today and then it was snatched away

It is a shame that you get nothing from games now like a small defeat used to.
