With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

Big boost with Lawton surprisingly back early as he was superb in the first half of the season. Looks like Yei will get a cameo off the bench with Astley coming into the halves for Craven.

Tricky game this one. If we turn up like the Keighley game we should win comfortability. If we turn up like last week then it will be a very difficult game.

Agreed. Midlands ate no mugs as we’ve found out previously. This for me is the litmus test - can we start as we did against Keighley, in which case we should perform and do well, boding well for the last few games and even next season, or it will be a struggle and prove that there’s a lot still to be done. Also a test regarding public support - a game not too if the table or a derby, with not a large travelling support, what sort of crowd will we get.

Just looking at the squad. No Kian Morgan although he is playing for Salford reserves. Is he out of contract this season?

Are you sure it's Kian? Salford have a Kai Morgan.

Not saying you are wrong, but haven't seen any report / comment of Kian playing for them.

Kian played centre for Salford reserves last weekend, witn Kia at no 6.

Kians contract expires at the end of this season.

Sounds like you haven't a clue who's actually in your squad which is good to hear.

Looking forward to my first visit to Boundary Park since my last time as a Leeds United supporter back in the 80s, assuming the soccer team was playing there then but that's not important.

My question is this: is there beer and burgers (etc) on offer inside the stadium tomorrow?

Was a good offering at Whitebanks in the final years so just wondering if we need to bring packed lunches.

See you tomorrow and looking forward to a great game.

Good win that against a physical Midlands side who always kept going, but a lot of injuries from today's game Taylor before kick off, Dean's looked a serious ankle injury, Sidlow seemed to pull something early on and Brad Gallagher looks to have badly damaged a thumb , JT didn't look fully fit for most of the second half as well, hopefully can make plenty of changes for the Newcastle game give some lads a game who must be dying for a game. Defense today was great again and attack decent in patches my only concern is our kicking in general play is awful without craven it's needs looking at , finally referee today thought had a really good game got most things right and let the game flow

A professional performance.  First half was good. Second half Longy told them to play smart due to injuries - kick it out walk to scrum etc, didn't need to win it twice. We were struggling for subs due to injuries.

Longy thinks Craven will be back next week so will fill the spot for Dean - sounds like he is done if proven to be broken leg.

It's a decent win against a side I was worried about as have caused issues in the past.

First half was very good as has been said. Looked physically in control right from the start and dangerous when we had the ball. Injuries really spoiled our rotation meaning we only had one sub for most of the second half.

Farnworth and J Chapelhow superb again starting at prop especially Farnworth playing the 60 mins straight. PLT was great at full back. Dixon was all class on the wing as usual. Defence was supreme again and they only threatened in the last 10 mins when we were knackered.

With the injuries Dean seemed a bad one. Sidlow looked to be a muscle injury and Gallagher went off with I think a broken thumb. We've got plenty on players desperate to get a game in Hirst, O'Keefe, Tyrer and Yei.  Might need Ellis to fill in next week and hope Craven is ready for Keighley.

Can I just clarify, it was 32-0? Didn't hear a final hooter, just the ref blowing, ball still in play, I think, then one of the twins dropped the ball over, the scoreboard then added the 2 making it 34-0?

Listening to OCR they the hooter went while the ball was in play and the drop goal went over. For some reason the ref blew for time while the ball was in play?
