There was a massive cheer in West Hull to celebrate it also...

Imagine watching this crowd, at this ground (with a new stand to come), with this atmosphere, an away weekend trip loved by thousands, a home side that’s consistently challenged for trophies, and then thinking “why don’t we charge Catalans an extra million quid, cripple them, and ultimately run them out of the league so that we can have yet another under-resourced, small-crowd, bottom-feeding club in West Yorkshire”

That ladies and gentlemen is the idiocy of rugby league in a nutshell.

I can’t begin to describe how angry it makes me.

I didn't think Yaha had a dummy that slick in his arsenal.

Walters turning his back in defence and leaving a huge gap for Catalans to exploit and score. That's really sloppy stuff after such a great start. The fact we've got so many weak links despite having a strong side on paper still concerns me.

It is. One of the best parts of the season. For me though the most important thing is they’re a fully resourced club: Great ground, full coaching & community staff, top quality squad. They will always be competitive now. No replacement for them will be.

We need more Catalans in the league, not less.

The coverage, presumably by French TV instead of Sky, is superb. None of those interminable replays while the game is in motion, no extended pictures of the coaches picking their noses, and good crowd noise. Sky take note, please.
