Hurricanes, Oldham and Cougars to win.

A huge party at Boundary Park (and very well deserved).

A big celebration at the Alexander Stadium on Hurricanes reaching the playoffs (Best of luck to them).

Cougars to narrowly defeat Hornets to secure the second spot.

North Wales Crusaders to win - although the game is a dead rubber, as it wont affect the playoffs, it will give us time to reflect on what could have been, and the exciting prospect of what is to come in 2025. Season tickets go on sale, so I'll be in the queue for one of those.

On a personal reflection - I only missed one game this season, home and away; That was a home game vs Workington on Fathers Day. Over the season I met plenty of lovely people in League 1 , home and away; Thank You for your company, your friendly rivalry and for coming to North Wales Crusaders to support your teams. See some of you next year. Good luck and congratulations to those who go up to the Championship.

Keighley have already secured 2nd spot. So my thought is they're not going 100% for ,what is to them, also a dead rubber. Why risk injury and disciplinaries when the real battle is yet to come?

The Cougars certainly didn't hold back last Sunday and I wouldn't expect them to this week.

It's important to go into the play-offs with form and confidence.

We have a week off after this week to prepare for the play-offs.

Midlands Hurricanes 28 v 24 Hunslet
North Wales Crusaders 36 v 6 Cornwall
Oldham 34 v 22 Workington Town
Rochdale Hornets 24 v 18 Keighley Cougars

Haven't been this excited about anything for ages.

Hurricanes in the playoffs is such a huge step forward for everyone at the club.

I suspect Rochdale might win this. Also they could be a good shout for the second promotion spot

Good win for Hunslet yesterday against a very good Midlands side

Disappointed with some of our defending yesterday but pleased that we fought back in the second half. Wasn't the best game of the season but delighted that we didn't pick up ay more injuries.

Decent game to round off the season down by the North Wales seaside - at least for us Crusaders supporters. Seven tries to two plus being able to get my season ticket for next season which came with a letter from our new owner making encouraging remarks about next year sent me and I suspect several others home happy. Cornwall showed some nice touches and never gave up trying, but they were beaten by a larger and probably more experienced side (apparently they had two Bradford players on loan). 755 of us there, including a few Cornwall supporters (well done!), possibly helped by it being a free admission day.

Not a big fan of the promotion play off system. If it's 2 up  then it should be top 2. However, I guess,  it's mitigated by the fact that Keighley haven't beaten the hornets this season.
