Am i right in believing that the dragons were looking at opening up an office in Paris for marketing and potential investment opportunities or did I just dream it?

also don’t the dragons do a pre-season launch in Paris?

Brilliant news. Lay the groundwork now. Get into Paris schools, junior clubs. Start getting people into RL now.

Nice idea but who’s going to do all of that, and fund it? That’s the problem with RL, the game is impoverished and there aren’t enough coaches or referees, let alone players.

A bit of a risk as Racing and Stade Francais are probably some of the worst supported teams (when you consider the size of the Paris market compared to other top14 sides). So it may be tough to pull a good attendance.

But well worth a go and fair play to the Catalans for trying something different.

In the flip side, if Yawnion isn’t big there they may not be an anti league snobbery that would put people off going to see what it’s all about.

Just googled the Stade Jean Bouin, looks like a cracking venue.

It's a very tidy stadium which has a capacity that should definitely be pushed close in this sort of fixture, just under 20k

This won't really be about the attendance will it? I.e. I don't see Catalans seeking to get Jean-Pierre who lives by the Louvre as a long term fan.

It will be a scaled-up version of the Capital Challenge the Skolars/Broncos do most years in the City of London. A good chance to host a few corporates near their head office, and a good day out for existing fans. I hope it goes ahead.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

Be disappointmted if they dont, Cats and Wigan should easily shift 10k tickets between them. It's a 20k stadium, they have almost 2 years in which to sell it out.

Its a shame they are not going back to the Charlety Stadium where PSG and Sheffield kicked off Super League.

It would have an element of sentimentality but the stands are miles from the pitch, it’s terrible for watching rugby league.

Had a meeting last week basically the club feel they need to be ambitious and set some challenges.

Otherwise as the commercial director said its the same old same old.

The same old same old is where RL loves to be, it’s the game’s comfort zone.

Great news, Catalans should wear a PSG retro jersey  for the game. Lol

Would be great to see some of the old PSG faces at the game like entant, kacala and cabestany etc.

Sadly Didier Cabestaby passed away a few years ago from acholisum.

Great player
