Hull FC were playing better when Ben Reynolds loaned from their successful neighbours was in the halves. Can't be a coincidence that Fev had been playing terribly without recognised half backs.Reynolds comes back and along with Lockwood coming out of retirement we are a different team winning 7 on the trot and Ben has been outstanding. We had Patton but he picked up a 6 match ban for an offence SL players have been getting 3 or less for.Pro rugby players should have more pride than to put in performance like Hull Fc have done this season.

They knew they didn't have to win a single game this season and still wouldn't have got relegated.

Welcome to the world of dead rubbers

Of course because famously there’s never been any dead rubbers in the game before now

Not when there’s been relegation at stake

what on earth have they been paying Myler for ? thought he was there to turn things round? what a waste of good money

You're obsessed with Myler, you post the same thing after every game. What, realistically do you think he could have done about it this season? If we are still terrible next year with the new coaches and players he has recruited, then your question will be a valid one.

I think you’re misinterpreting what Im saying.

Low level as in Lower level Cricket

What is lower level? I'm completely intrigued by your opinion ( I have a vested interest in this ) tia.

I think what he was saying is that Leeds won’t play at the same time as Yorkshire or the superchargers. They’ve only played at the same time as some lower level cricket. What he wasn’t saying is that Yorkshire or the superchargers are lower level cricket.

God, people fishing for something to be offended by are really tiresome.

It's probably better explained in terms of crowd size. Pre stadium rebuild Leeds occasionally played cup ties at the same time as Yorkshire were playing a multi game day (even on a Saturday afternoon those don't have great crowds). They didn't schedule a conflict as such but a home draw in the cup and tv saying they wanted the Leeds game meant both needed to be played at the same time and with a few modifications to how the stadium worked the two clubs made it work. I don't think they've done it since the rebuild or ever for something with a decent attendance on the cricket side.

They used to, and presumably still do, play RL games in the evening after cricket has been played during the day.

There was a game (I think a Friday evening about 2 years ago) where there ended up being about a 15 minute overlap between the very end of the 4th day of a Yorkshire County Championship match and the 1st half of a Rhino's game.

It was an unusual situation where the cricket had gone to the very end of the last day and would've probably finished an hour or so earlier if it wasn't for Yorkshire pressing to secure victory in a very close game.

I remember what had been the usual small County Championship crowd being boosted as Rhino's fans started watching from the Football Stand End before their game began.

That's the only example I can think of in recent years.

I remember at a Leeds vs Salford game iirc (in the last decade or so) some sort of announcement to do with the cricket still being on and being respectful and it getting booed
