Wakefield Ram Posted September 30, 2024 Posted September 30, 2024 Not on the players due to leave list so assume he's staying and certainly been one of our better players since his return. 2
Crown Flatter Posted September 30, 2024 Posted September 30, 2024 Is he our top tryscorer? Seems to have scored in almost every match. Legs, Dews, Legs.
Blind side johnny Posted October 1, 2024 Posted October 1, 2024 He was on loan from Featherstone, wasn't he? Sport, amongst other things, is a dream-world offering escape from harsh reality and the disturbing prospect of change.

SUPERSTUD Posted October 1, 2024 Posted October 1, 2024 Just needs a personal fitness trainer to get him some sort of decent physical shape.

Crown Flatter Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 Goole is a bit closer to his Hull home. Legs, Dews, Legs.

phildog Posted October 3, 2024 Posted October 3, 2024 Thing is Tomlinson has never found a 'place'. At The Mount he played wing because we had nobody else at the time, then in Linners 1st season was given a centre's shirt for power, but was found lacking in pace in both positions (nowt new there). As 2nd rower he was never going to get past players who were already there. When he came to Dews I thought he'd find his niche but didn't and I was amazed when Fev took him on. If he stays with you March needs to muscle him up and use him at 11/12.

phildog Posted October 3, 2024 Posted October 3, 2024 Power from 10 yards out, fine, won't go any distance on the hoof.

SUPERSTUD Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 To be fair they have both been good servants. Just think that sometimes one or two slots can be locked down too much. Even when a team has not come up with the seasonal goods like yours this season. Time stands still for no man. Other players are prone to walking if they can’t foresee any positional pathway such as Oli Burton. I think Batley are in need of a freshen up but I accept that it is not always easy to complete such a task.

Everyone but 3 have agreed terms senior apparently wants out despite being a first choice centre http://tombatley.wordpress.com/ Give it a read..
phildog Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 Well Keenan added another string to his positional bow last night by playing no9 for Jamaica! Only needs to play FB or in the halves and he's basically covered the lot. 1
