Wonder if he is going to Salford as no 2?

Saints I believe. I think it's security over career which I get. I liked Dunning fans wanted him out after a bad run. Hey ho low budget and newish club Dunning has done well. I honestly think as a first year head coach he did well. Obviously a shed load to work on but the signs were there. However who's next to take over. We needed a mid term plan. Our success in the past was based on succession and time.

Ian Watson is being named. I dont even kn8w who'd put there tbh.

I think it would be an attractive job. We will have one of the strongest squads in the championship next year. There's not a lot of Job opportunities in RL.

Just hope this doesn't destabilise us as felt EOC was building at the club.

Going to St Helens, just as Matty Smith leaves the women's team coaching job?

Am I putting 2 and 2 together and making 5?

You are. Craig Richards and Derek Hardman are the new St Helens ladies coaches.

Got shot down on the Bradford website but in my opinion its the most attractive job in the championship at this point. More than likely the biggest budget in the division, they already have a very good squad which will be capable of topping the league and no doubt with the money at their disposal because of new investment, the new coach will be allowed to bring in some of his own players further strengthening that squad.

I think it does have some negatives though as to the type of person it could attract. In that I mean there is no chance of progression to SL for the club under the IMG criteria so it then becomes a stepping stone type of thing for the next coach, that may stop them bringing in a big name despite having the money to do so but money does still talk at the end of the day. With no chance of SL it also reduces the pressure in my opinion, I know they will still be expected to compete for top spot but I think thats a bit different to having to coach the team to win a grand final and gain promotion.

The security of a full time post in SL is clearly very attractive. It makes a significant difference people don't realise from the outside - even for a pretty high status Championship club like Bradford.

Can't think we'll get into Superlague next season. We've signed quite a few new players and we've been offered a knockdown price to buy the lease on Odsal. Summer games are switching to Friday nights so the 3000 attendance may actually go down.

My money is on a return to the Lee Greenwood-Brian Noble coaching partnership.

There's not much out there tbh. Ex coaches Smith and Mcdermott tied up. Ian Watson possibly a step down? Dunning back? Of whom I didn't mind. My long shot is Kyle Amor.

Although on the trial run Friday night vs Dewsbury, crowd was up 10% and the atmosphere was better. That’s probably why the board is going to have 3 more Friday night games

Up 10% in comparison to what?

Why have they no chance of SL under IMG criteria, 14th in provisional listings weren’t they so not a million miles off

It was very hard for them to increase their score given the gradings they said they had vs the grading criteria. Personally I would not be surprised to see their new score around the same as what it were in the mocks. We know the teams that they are competing with this time all looked to have increased their grading scores which makes it pretty much an impossibility they get in this time. This is the last time we will see movement under this grading system in my opinion having studied the grading criteria.

That’s the pulling power of the Rams for you. 😉Next year we’ll be filling the grounds at Cornwall, Midlands and Newcastle.🤭

Andrew Henderson being touted as the new coach.

Definitely has to be in the market. I wonder if what happens at Sheffield will influence timings.
