The game has moved on considerably since he last held a head coaches role, you just have to listen to the commentaries that he and the other yesterdays man, Jonathan Davies, do to see that. They were ‘of their day’ and nobody can argue that then they were the top of the tree, but times move on. Bradford should have gone for someone who is relevant to the modern game, not hark to the past, it rarely, if ever, works.

Rather listen to what the players think regarding Noble.

We exited the last two seasons in similar fashion so nothing short of being in a final and winning something next year should be what’s expected, so I am looking forward to that, looking forward to being in amongst the fans and the community again whilst working for a great club figure in Brian [Noble] too.

“Even before I met him for the first time I knew the type of respect he had at the club after all he has achieved and accomplished, I am eager to work directly under him. I know he has been in the background over the last couple of years but whenever he speaks, everyone listens and respects his words and I am looking forward to it – we have a good relationship so it should be fun.

When was the last time you saw a player, in a club press release after re-signing, saying anything other than how great the coach is?

Possibly some money going to Bradford?

Nigel Wood seemingly recommended the temporarily wealthy new owners of Salford 2013 and Toronto, later,of the expertise of the coaching of Brian Noble, not forgetting the owner(s) of South Wales and the North Wales clubs,so it may seem logical, from the past experiences, that wealthy individuals want Brian Noble to be head coach.

No reserves, but resilience, persistence and determination are omnipotent.

I'd love to have seen one break rank.

"So what do you think of your new coach"

"I'm gutted, he's rubbish, can't stand the annoying person"

Congratulations. You've made this joke in every Bradford thread. Yet not about Halifax or Haven nor others. Maybe you protest too much?

Thank you, it's one of my favourites!

Having watched a lot of championship rugby last year I've seen Noble at a lot of Bradford games.  He's clearly been involved closely already so won't be much of a change.

Given their squad, now with Taufua and Armitage added they ought to finish top next year.

Well, should be one of the best part time teams, but as Leigh, Toulouse and Wakefield have found over the past few years, being full time basically guarantees you finishing above the part time teams.
