Can someone explain the 'surrender' call from Kendall? They don't look like surrenders, and if they were wouldn't that be a pen?

The surrender call has been an annoying thing all season for me.

It is supposed to be when a ref has judged that the attacker has "surrendered" into the tackle in order to gain some advantage, so the defenders have more time to lay on.

But it is subjective.

Do you honestly, really think you're neutral?

100 per cent.

Calling it as I see it. Always have, always will, without fear or favour.

Rules are rules, whether it's Middleofnowhereshire ARLFC under 12s vs Neverheardofit Town under 12s in a pre season friendly, or Australia vs England in a World Cup Final.

Yes, the halves have good both games.

It's a long time since we could afford to "sideline' a player like Lewis in the half's, were usually desperately hunting for them.

Over the last 2 weeks, I don't believe there has been a single 50/50 call that you haven't viewed it from the Samoan POV.

Don't know what you're talking about - we've had a wealth of HB's for year, we had so many we even played one on the wing one year .......

Who has Luai signed for? He's a quality player even away from the Penrith system..

Wests so he won’t be getting 5 in a row

I'm thinking back to slotting Farrell, Sculthorpe etc in, English half backs were rare in Super league not that long ago..

Ah I see, I mispoke saying "it's a long time".

If we can bring through a couple of props like Noah Stephens et al, we are going to be various dangerous at the WC in 2026.

My opinion I think May has been the best prop on the field, Stephens may well be required if he improves.

decided to swap glory for cash and sign for the tigers - the only way he will see a grand final again is from the stands - thrown his legacy down the drain

I know Bono and he knows Ono and she knows Enos phone goes thus

Remember, that is Jarome Luai, multiple and current NRL Grand Final winner, kicking for Jeremiah Nanai, Queensland and Kangaroo rep, to score.

They have good players. We have better and should be happy with that.

We had halfbacks then who could have played, but the coaches at the time thought that being defensive was the best policy, didn't work did it?

I am not sure if May has been the best prop today, perhaps.

Havard has been off since the first half, so that doesn't help the rotation for England.

I also do think that out of all of our 1-17 over these two tests our props have been the least effective when compared to wingers/centres/halves, etc.

Although I do disagree about your opinion on Havard last week.

Thanks - I was just expecting it to be a penalty against the ball carrier and didn't hear it being followed up with a whistle.
