Not the RLS fault....

Simple next season from a month before the season until the Monday after the leagues grand final no weekends will be missed through holidays ... Simple really

thats a whole 10 to 11 months ? not many sports will give team players just a 4 week window in the whole year to full fill their family and work commitments and holidays .

great effort from the boys today , but as for not being able to field a 17 man team ,  this will always happen when we rely on dr and don t have a reserve team . i still say we desperately need a reserve team , even if its a joint one with haven , no one is going to sign for us just to train every week and carry water bottles/kicking tees !

Mr sammut thanking the club for the 2nd half of the year. Not sure a player planning on staying would be doing so. Maybe wrong but looks like we could have our hearts broken. Regardless he has been our saviour this year and an absolute super star, if it is the last time we see him then he's done more for the team in 6 months than some do in 3 years.

I didn't like the line that we were still trying to get him . Wasn't a good sign after all this time . He's honest I guess that we put him in the shop window and gave him some games , now the offers come flooding in and he owes us no loyalty . If he moves on , we must put a quality replacement at the top of our list . We've had a glimpse ... We simply can't go back

if we can offer the kind of money ive heard we've offered jarrod, and he's worth every penny, then go out and make a statement and go big for Gareth o'brien. 1st choice had to be sammut but if he can go super league which he should do, then Gareth is top quality but often discarded up there. We simply have to have a top notch half or it will be very similar to that 1st half of the season again.

Well done to everyone associated with the club for another great effort this season, 8th place and 5 victories over haven, I'm sure we would all have took that at the start of the season. The televised comeback at Blackers was the highlight for me, what a cracking day out.

Well I'm sure we've made him the best offer we've ever made to a player, we can't do anymore than that.

If he does go I can honestly say it's been a privilege to watch him play, an absolutely fabulous rugby player.

Talking to a couple of the players about him and to a man they say he's a great lad too.

Thanks for the last half of the season Jarrod!

Well must say it sounds a bit ominous regarding Mr Sammut will be absolutely gutted if we lose him but if he's moving on to something better and wish him well and thank him for all he's done which is no mean feat in the time we have had him. I also would like to thank him for the chance to. watch a real master at work and the pleasure he as given us since his arrival

very true terry. He is one of them players who comes under the "worth the entrance money alone" tag. Was great watching him but If he is moving on then we MUST get the HB position sorted A.S.A.P. clearly a quality HB was the missing link and look what happened when we got one. We need one in place for the start of the season.

Well said sir . But as with Eliot , even if it's in the face of reality , let's keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best until they unveil the worst !!

strong rumours hes joining Dewsbury Rams, quality signing for us if true

rams fans say he is out of their league finallcially. If rumours are true town have made him a very good offer. However if he doesn't accept it we thank him for his services and move on.

if he doesn't sign for town it will be for a super league club. He won't sign for a team on a level pegging. And if your paying big wages for Sykes (more fool you) then can you believe you can sign 2 on mega wages for our types of club. Sammut is ten times the player of Sykes.
