Dave T
Looking at the RLWC fixtures on the BBC to try and understand what holidays I will need off work to watch some of the Friday morning game, and I noticed that quite a few of the fixtures clash with each other. Is this right or have the BBC just got confused with some of the times? Matchday 2 sees NZ v Samoa and PNG v Wales kick off at the same time (7.30am) Matchday 3 sees Scotland v Tonga and France v Lebanon (4am and 5.05am) Matchday 6 has PNG v Ireland and Fiji v Wales (6am and 6.30am) They also have key games (QF and Semi Final) on a Friday, which is rubbish for UK fans. Surely these times are not right, it seems to be pee poor if it is, and worries me in terms of being able to watch every game live, which I was hoping to do. Farmduck
They are probably confused over the time zones. There should be 5 time zones for the WC: NZDT, AEDT, AEST, PGT and AWST PGT should be the same as AEST which should 1 hour behind AEDT, 1 hour behind NZDT and 2 hours ahead of AWST http://www.rlwc2017.com/fixtures
Farmduck
It still looks like there will be some overlap but maybe they're talking about telecast preamble start times, rather than K-O times.
Number 16
PNG is 9 hours ahead, and NZ is 11. KOs are UK time 6.00 and 9.10. All three games that day should follow on one from the other.

Allora
Here is a link with the Australian times for each game, the UK is 9 hours behind Sydney. You can work it out from there. http://www.theroar.com.au/rugby-league/rugby-league-world-cup-fixtures/ Talent is secondary to whether players are confident. Good point, none of Queensland has daylight saving, so Cairns, and Townsville are the same as Brisbane. Talent is secondary to whether players are confident. I'm sure one is a typo edit - it should read Ireland v Italy at Cairns The 4am/5am games are going to kill me ?
Exiled Wiganer
The time differences are a complete mind bender... I have another question - are freesport showing all the games (so I don't need premier)? Or should I get premier for HD?

If they use their full squads, every player gets a full-contact warmup, unlimited changes at "half" time and the crowd gets 3 games in 2 hours. www.rlwc2017.com/fixtures

Farmduck
Quote Matchday 2 sees NZ v Samoa and PNG v Wales kick off at the same time (7.30am) In "real" time there is at least 3 hours between kick-off times for these 2 games Quote Matchday 3 sees Scotland v Tonga and France v Lebanon (4am and 5.05am) This one looks bad - a double header in Cairns with a one-off game in Canberra. Quote Matchday 6 has PNG v Ireland and Fiji v Wales (6am and 6.30am) No that's a mistake in Time Zones. BUT PNG v IRL will overlap with Italy v USA. Should be at least 90 minutes between kick-offs for the PNG and Fiji games.
