I agree. However other teams we have played have also shown invention and variation in their tactical kicking. That is one thing I have found refreshing in the championship. All we seem to do is the towering bomb time after time on the last tackle.

Well played to Swinton today, caused Wakey all sorts of problems. They came with a great attitude and well thought out game plan. In the end they were out muscled but not out skilled.

Unfortunately this is the reality of sport in this country at all levels, and that's just about any sport. Parents push their kids to succeed so they themselves have something to boast about and that desperation to experience that success through their kids leads to them being taken over by their passion which spills out in this kind of disgusting behaviour. The best thing to do would be to ban them immediately from attending games. Chucking the kid out of the team would seem at first to be an option but I wouldn't necessarily want to punish the kid for their parents behaviour and there would be a risk that the parent would take their frustration out on their kid if they could no longer be involved in the sport.

I've said same yer not telling me we can't get new barriers for PO Rd end and new floodlights or even bulbs. A good assessment of todays game...our 5th tackle decision making was absent and we just couldn't finish our sets with any meaningful plays. A massive call to arms by the club to get fans in seems to have fallen on deaf ears and the crowd was bolstered by a good amount of travelling support from Keighley. Will also add that none of these issues are now. It’s 20 years now since there was an outcry that a Wigan v Warrington semi would be played at the then-three sided Widnes ground and it didn’t even sell out. So going smaller doesn’t tend to have the desired effect either.

Spacing between the semi and the final has been an issue, and this year they’ve managed to make the worst of the lot. Connor’s reputation seems to be preceding him. Players are just giving him a crack and the refs aren’t bothered!

It doesn't help looking at the league table either with some team having already played 9 game and some have only played 7. Its impossible to judge form given the difference in the amount of games teams have played....and then we all play dofferent strength teams 3 time...its a total shambles.

Can anyone spread any light on what we have or are spending the £2million on from Wakefield C.C.It is well documented that Wakey put theirs to the new stand and improvements to terracing.And Cas also used the money in tarting up the ground.What benefit has our ground seen from the £2 million.Just curios because i can't see ant tangible benefit.

Just got back and we got exactly what we deserve after that performance, an absolute towelling. More half a££d efforts from our players and some atrocious defensive attempts too. We look completely devoid of ideas in the final 3rd. Credit to Wire though they blew us away in the first half and looked very good, we had no answer and just as last week appeared to throw the towel in in the 2nd half. Jake Connor is really starting to annoy me now, he is fine if were on top and dominating the opposition but as soon as things don't go our way he seems to forget about his role in the team and decides he's going to be pantomine villain, he's so frustrating to watch and i can't imagine how hard he is to play alongside. I'll also say i'm now beginning to believe that my club will not progress until change is made, whether that's at the top, the coaching team or the players, Apart from maybe 5 or 6 i wouldn't be bothered if they all left tomorrow. Funniest thing was a group of young Wire fans trying to goad the Giants fans with 'Jake Connor is w-anchor' chants to which the Giants fasn turned round and agreed with! I'm disappointed but still had a good day out with my mates, the final should be a cracker now if both play like that again.

There was a rumour going round that an Utah/USA rep team would be coming across too.
