I have posted from Bartje Bartmans' YT channel before, but he's worth a subscribe, as there is loads of interesting and often lesser-known music on there.

It is twenty years today that Grandaddy brought out Sumday. It was a cracking LP.  The song “Now It’s On” is up there as a brilliant tune in my ears.

More for watching than listening, as it's a clip show, but still exhilarating.

Great new Sparks album.

Are there any good podcasts/documentaries on bands that hated each other or fell out.
Not counting the band in Dundee when the lead singer attacked the bassist i think.

Not sure how good it is, and a lot of the episodes are feuds between rival bands/artists rather than within bands, but try this: https://podbay.fm/p/1494336314

I know I'm a saddo Dad of teenage boys and that musical taste is varied, but please explain this to me.

I'm genuinely interested, I'm not taking the ######.

Don't worry; the only person I know who owns any of their records is in his late middle-age.

I get a lot of people sending me new music to try out and I get some of it, but dislike a lot of it. I obviously understand that we all have different taste (life would be boring if we didn't).

This stuff (pigs pigs etc), however, is beyond my comprehension. I can listen to most music and even if I don't like it, I can get why some folk do.

I don't want to be rude as I get that people will hate the stuff I post, but... but... but... it's just really weird. I'd love to know what it is about pigs pigs etc that people like.

I can't explain.   It popped up on my YouTube feed and I had a listen.   Not really my cup of tea to be honest.   A bit like death/ black metal  I can cope with the music but not the vocals.

No probs mate, I wasn't trying to annoy you. It would be boring if we all liked the same music and supported the same team 👍
