Maybe a visit to the USA to the leading specialist who sorted out Latrell Mitchell's hamstring problem could be a possible solution?

As Turbo is in the news perhaps a revisit to my post in December is warranted!

Parramatta released Nathan Brown effective immediately with the former NSW representative to join the Roosters this week.

The Roosters have released Tuku Hau Tapuha to join another NRL club in return for Brown, who won't be available for the Rabbitohs clash but could be available for selection in Round 5, coincidentally against the Eels.

Gotta be honest I thought hastings was lucky to be available this week. Yes it was careless not deliberate but he made head contact and caused an HIA. My view he should miss a week as he caused through foul play a player to miss a week

Roosters star Luke Keary has addressed Joseph Suaalii’s reported $1.6 million deal to make a cross-code switch, likening the young gun to Sonny Bill Williams.

According to The Daily Telegraph, the 19-year-old is set to sign with Rugby Australia from 2025 onwards, joining Eddie Jones and the Wallabies.

The report claimed the chance to play in a historic series against the British & Irish Lions was a “key driver” for Suaalii in the decision as well as the huge salary.

Gold Coast will be sweating on the fitness of star duo Kieran Foran and AJ Brimson, with both players suffering soft tissue injuries in the loss to the Cowboys.

The veteran Kiwi playmaker left the field early in the first-half with a calf issue and was immediately ruled out, before the electric No.1 succumbed to a hamstring injury and left the field.

Canberra Raiders face a fight to retain star five-eighth Jack Wighton amid confirmation the 30-year-old is going to the open market for the first time since joining the club.

Wighton, who is off-contract at the end of this season, has an option in his favour for 2024 and it was widely expected he would extend his stay in the nation’s capital.

But The Daily Telegraph reported on Tuesday afternoon that Wighton, who had until round 10 to trigger that automatic extension, will instead test his worth.

Totally unsurprisingly Zac Lomax has been dropped . Once touted for top honours by some his career has stalled and reversed course completely . He got an interception and went about 9 milimetres , and his kicking has cost at least three games

Any idea what's happened to him? I remember how promising he looked  a couple of seasons ago, even when the Dragons were doing badly.

Not really , it is strange . He was tipped up as in the Origin ‘ mix ‘ and had all the physical attributes and a good skill set . His kicking has gone awry so I don’t know if it’s confidence or just the general malaise at the club . Hopefully he comes out the other side . Both Feagai brothers were strong and Ravalawa and Suli are shoo-ins so he’s been given a nudge by the coach , and apparently not took it to well . It’s up to him now I guess

Anthony Griffin has been taken to task after reportedly offering no feedback to Zac Lomax and Jacob Liddle over his decision to axe them from the Dragons team this weekend. Lomax and Liddle have paid the price for the Dragons' four consecutive losses, left out of the 17 to face the Wests Tigers in Magic Round.

Lomax has struggled this season after he was switched from right centre to left by Griffin, but Liddle has been one of the Dragons' best players despite being given limited minutes in favour of Moses Mbye. Discussing the situation on NRL 360 on Tuesday night, leading journalist Paul Kent revealed Lomax and Liddle hadn't been given any feedback about their axings.

Apparently Tino F and Fifita both have exit clauses in their Titans contract that kicked in when the coach was fired. Canberra already indicated they will make Fifita an offer.

There was incident yesterday where Ponga caught a chaser with a boot . More generally i’ve noticed that creeping back in , fullbacks jumping and really throwing out their boot studs up .
