Worrying that Turbo has done his hamstring again in preseason training . Injuries , and this reoccurring , are a real problem for him

Maybe a visit to the USA to the leading specialist who sorted out Latrell Mitchell's hamstring problem could be a possible solution?

Talatau Amone granted bail after allegedly assaulting tradie armed with a hammer

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-12-23/dragons-player-bailed-on-assault-charges/101804666

At least his Dad was there helping him in the assault so he clearly has the strong family support he needs to overcome this career setback.

Gee, and she'd gone almost 3 years without being arrested for anything.

TC Robati has today stood down from all club activities, following an alleged incident at a Brisbane venue in December.

Robati, 21, will face court next month after being charged last Saturday (December 24) with one count of sexual assault, following the alleged incident that took place during the playing group's Christmas leave period, on December 21.

The mother of Brisbane Broncos player Payne Haas has been charged with three counts of manslaughter over a Gold Coast car crash in which three people died.

Uiatu "Joan" Taufua, 46, is the sole survivor of Friday's crash, which killed Susan Zimmer, 70, her partner Chris Fawcett, 79 and Ms Zimmer's daughter Stephanie at Bonogin.

Ms Taufua was formally charged this afternoon with the three counts of manslaughter, as well as one count each of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, evading police and driving without a licence.

Not sure this belongs on the Australian Rugby League forum page….the individual is not involved in RL in Australia….and the player mentioned had nothing to do with the tragic incident.

We cannot choose our parents (and in some cases it amazing how successful some folks are despite the parents they were born to) so lets keep this forum to matters of rugby league and avoid adding to what must be a difficult time for the player (as well as for the family of the other parties)

Very interested to read the story about Cody Ramsey being ruled out for the year due to bowel surgery and ongoing ulcerative colitis . Not just as it’s my club but having been there personally and the after effects , how life changing ( often weakening and debilitating ) it is as well as obvious soreness and sensitivity in that area after surgery It will be interesting if he comes back in of course such a brutal contact sport

WCC kick-off pushed back an hour - 50 minutes anyway.

The National Rugby League will adjust the kick-off times to NRL Pre-Season matches on Saturday, including the World Club Challenge between the Panthers and St Helens at BlueBet Stadium.

GAMEDAY GUIDE: Everything you need to know

The decision was made due to player safety concerns around the forecasted heat and humidity in regional NSW and Western Sydney.

Latest on Talakai Amone currently stood down by NRL on no fault ruling.

His case has been transferred to a lower court where the maximum sentence should he be found guilty is now only 11 month (the maximum in the higher court for guilty was 14 years). Quite a difference eh what?

This means he should be eligible to restart playing.

Amone stand down latest here.

Paul Kent unfortunately is back on 360 and in his usual form , saying Penrith won’t even count the world  club challenge as a loss as it’s unimportant

I saw that on You tube Kent supported by Braith Anasta. I was going to email them and ask if it didn't matter why did Penrith celebrate so much when they equalised.... nah they ain't worth it. Anyhow  I have watched quite a few Australian you tubers who were ar the game who took great delight in Penrith's defeat.
