No pretty, but very pleased to get that one over the line. Thought we were going to throw it away.

Catalans scored more tries, but the two points is all I'm bothered about.

Richards is a great long distance kicker but is merely average at converting.

Never mind Richards' conversion misses, his kick offs had us in all sorts of problems from the start of the match, in fact, every time we scored we were in trouble.

Very pleased to get the win but our right edge defence was almost none existent. Catalans often made a mess of their passing because they were in such a hurry to try and get the ball out there.

Catalans also were on two team warnings during the game, don't think I've seen that before.

Myler and Roberts were their stand out players I thought, pleased we didn't have to put up with Taylor's barging runs but then we were without Ellis and Minichiello so kind of evens itself out I suppose.

Didn't think anybody in particular stood out for Hull, just ground out a win and that'll have to do, after all, wasn't that Catalans first defeat in quite a while?

Profuse apologies, I meant Stewart, I've no idea where Roberts came from!

How did Widnes do against Hull mate?

They didn't just win, they mullered us.

Whilst I accept we're in a good place at the moment, I wonder when the next "Widnes" performance will come along.

Your focusing on one negative all season OF come on I know as Hull fans were just not used to as you say being in a good place but we are enjoy it and long may it last.

Class teams can play it to the edge, sounds like Catalan know how to tip toe the line.

Good win by the way, taking points off Catalan at the moment takes some doing.

Richards gets another try. Just going by radio commentary, this sounds like quite a match!

Plenty of handling errors from both sides but the forward battle was a joy to watch.

Stewart was very good. I thought Baitieri ran really strongly too.

Strange game for me. I actually thought Catalans without key strike players were the best team I have seen us play this season. In the Hull red zone they seemed to score at will. As impressed as I was with Catalans though you have to come away with that at the end of the day Hull won. So a couple of real contenders. From what I have seen so far Catalans and Warrington then Hull and Wigan with returning players as dark horses for a Grand Final berth..

Very exciting game that had me on the edge of my seat right up to the final hooter.

Cats did enough to win but the current mindset in the Hull side seems to be getting us over the line still.

If Hull manage a whole 80 minutes at their best, somebody will take a serious hammering!

It's been a long time since I was able to look at any opposition and think "we should beat these", but right now nobody in the league makes me think otherwise!
