Gav Wilson Posted May 8, 2019 Posted May 8, 2019 May '19. Grass seeds have been sowed, next is the stitching of the carpet in a few weeks time... @GavWilson
White Knight Posted May 8, 2019 Posted May 8, 2019 I think it looks great. I wonder if they are planning to screen the ends of the stands from the elements. The pic below is from Bournemouth’s stadium. They have used action photos. I think they look rather good. Beer and York Knights. Proof the God loves us and wants us to be happy.
trig Posted May 8, 2019 Posted May 8, 2019 Why do we have different coloured seats randomly positioned around stadium could we not get the same coloured ones ?

It's done like that so it looks fuller on TV games/highlights. It's been done in Australia for years now and looks great tbf! @GavWilson

Nearenough Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 I was wondering why the stadium looked packed out with folks so soon b4 kick off...i thought they must have gone to watch the grass grow!
Fenton Knight Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 Some folk are not too keen on the seat design but I love it. Other sporting clubs elsewhere in the world clearly love it to as evidenced by the designs in their own stadia. Can’t wait to have a pre-match pint overlooking the pitch with the players warming up from the comfort and warmth of the lounge bar. Then adjourn to my lovely padded seat for the match. Did someone say Christmas for our first match, albeit a friendly?

Fenton Knight Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 I am trying to find the love for the old place but I am really struggling. Perhaps it was the running track or the exposed ends, or having the seats all the same colour...
Fenton Knight Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 Another couple, one of the main stand, and one of the 3G pitches.
White Knight Posted May 24, 2019 Posted May 24, 2019 Look like the stitching machinery is at work. Beer and York Knights. Proof the God loves us and wants us to be happy.
