Davo5 Posted November 11, 2019 Posted November 11, 2019 Brett Phillips resigned for another season,it looks like Haven are going with basically the same squad with a few local additions.

That’s a worry if that’s the case as the championship seems to get stronger each year. Hope the fans stick with them
Cumbria RL Posted November 11, 2019 Author Posted November 11, 2019 Think we’re more than capable of beating the dewsburys, swintons, Batleys & Oldhams and you never know at Home with us so we could be ok.
Davo5 Posted November 13, 2019 Posted November 13, 2019 Karl Dixon signed, great player but puzzling why it’s only a 1 yr deal when he has the potential to be an outstanding halfback at this level.

Its a two way thing Davo5, so maybe Karl only wanted a 12 month deal,
Davo5 Posted November 27, 2019 Posted November 27, 2019 Brett Carter signed and here's me thinking Thackray was a backwards signing.

He will bring passion and enthusiasm to the team, maybe not the signing to take the club forward but he will do a good job Forget Chuck and Chad I am the real legend killer

Oh here we go,you've got to go to every Haven game to have an opinion, give your head a wobble,Ive been attending Haven games for over 40 yrs.
Cumbria RL Posted November 29, 2019 Author Posted November 29, 2019 What we have been asking for years a local team, am not bothered if we get stuffed every game aslong as we compete in them games, think we might shock a few on the way.
Raider91 Posted July 13, 2021 Posted July 13, 2021 Good to see haven go well this year. How has some of your aussie imports performed like Zammit, williams, walmsley and king?

Zammit not really set the world a light, king has only played 1 game so would make a call on him after a couple more but he could be very good for us, really impressed with both Williams and Walmsley and hoping the club can keep hold of them
Cumbria RL Posted July 16, 2021 Author Posted July 16, 2021 Apparently Newcastle ready to throw big money at them two.

Neutralfan7 Posted July 17, 2021 Posted July 17, 2021 You'd like to think both would give us more than one season but not surprised they've got interest elsewhere
