I wouldn't raise your hopes too much for sizeable away followings.

Ticket prices have been frozen for next season, we've averaged over 1,500 this season so I'd expect a minimum of 2000 Oldham fans, plus whatever the opposition brings. Therefore, I think an estimate of 2000-3000 is about right.

So would I as, according to the RL Project, Oldham have only recorded 3 seasons ever with average crowds over 5,000 (and those were below 6,000), and they were over 30 years ago...

And 30 yrs ago the SL average was around 5000, its almost double that now. Oldhams average in their 2nd and final SL season was around 4000 when they were abysmal finishing bottom, extrapalating that with the average increase in crowds 6000+ is easily achievable

My instinct is you'll be closer to 2,000 than 3,000 unless your absolutely flying though most of the championship would kill for that.  Regarding away support, at Widnes we've had two good away followings this season in Wakefield and Bradford, the best of the rest would be about 150. Wakefield going up and London coming down won't help that plus we don't know what impact IMG's spreadsheet is going to have. Now you are a bit more central than we are with you probably being half the distance than we are for most of the Yorkshire clubs but like I've said previously, I wouldn't hold my breath.

Just because you think everyone hates you doesn't mean they don't.

We have had two attendances nearing 3000 this season. We have also taken over 1000 to the last two away games. This seems a good foundation to build next season on.

It is indeed, but many people are interested in a winnIng team, less so if you’re mid table or lower.

I'm not knocking Oldham, I'm pleased for you plus for me your an away trip of under 50 miles which is good for us in this division. I'm just pointing out to go from averaging 1,500 to 3,000 is a big jump in rl terms.

One of the objectives set by the Oldham board for this season, was to gain promotion by assembling a mid table Chamionship squad. We beat Barrow and Halifax and lost to York and Swinton. Also drew with London, albeit in a friendly. So I think we can say objective achieved. Now I'm not privy to the objectives for next year, but I do know the squad we've got now will be stronger.

1,421 yesterday against Cornwall whose following was limited. Might be a big jump, but achievable!

Did they have any fans there out of interest? I’d guess not but great if they did.

Could anyone please explain why Oldham are back playing at boundary park?

Part of mike ford and his consortiums condition to taking over was to be able to play at BP. This was facilitated by the fact that frank Rothwell, the new Oldham athletic owner was also keen to see the yeds back in town. Added to this Oldham council funded a new state of the art pitch to be used by the community as well as the two pro teams.

Final game of the season this Sunday. League winners trophy to be presented. The club have gad a big promotion push on this game and are hoping to get a record crowd since our return to Boundary park. Hoping for over 3000 and for L1 would be amazing.

Also had 7 clean sheets out of 20 games including the last four home games. Breaks a record going back to 1911

Cornwall are the only side to score more than 1 try against them at home (and that was only 2, then they nilled them at their place a few weeks later to make up for it!). That's some home record!

They conceded 34 points at home in 10 matches. Average of 3.4 per game.

Overall was 7 points per game conceded.

tThey gave been really entertaining on attack as well. The highlights from yesterday are on YouTube now. Just watch the reverse flick pass that put Jordan Turner in fir his second try.
