Farnworth a cert for Queensland Origin team...

... or would be if he qualified! The young man is playing out of his skin at the moment. He was huge today in defeat, and overall he is one the NRL's leading stars this season.

The Dolphins must be ecstatic to have him from next year.

Yes to all of that . Outstanding . Is there a better centre than him now ?

He looked almost unstoppable at times for the Broncos yesterday. His ability to ride a challenge is exceptional.

have any Eng players ever played origin? - not that interested in it now its an insular and stale format

I played 3 games in '88 and the decider in '89.

If the Origin format had existed back in the day, I reckon NSW would have changed the eligibility rules, just to pick Mal Reilly.

Victor Radley (4 England caps) almost played Origin on a couple of occasions, but was a silly boy. Tyson Frizell (6 Wales caps) has played Origin.

Then there's London-born Ian Roberts, with 11 Origin appearances.

Herbie is a fantastic player, but the one area of his game that he needs to work on is his passing and linking with his winger.

He doesn't tend to pass and steps back off his left foot - which works well with breaks and tries. Improved passing would make him a nigh-on perfect centre.

Spot on.  I don't know who i would rather be a winger outside the least, Farnworth or Newman... neither are what you would call a classic winger's centre.

Although in every other facet of the game? Farnworth is outstanding.
