Can anyone tell me which stand that I need to book tickets for at York please?

When you go onto the ticketing section of York's website, go via 'matchday tickets' to 'away fans', then select the Batley match - it automatically gives you ticket options for the south stand, where Batley fans will be.

Can we just pay cash on the day and sit anywhere we like?

You can usually buy tickets from the office in the main building (behind the East Stand) on the day.

For the South Stand and the south half of the East Stand they use the same turnstiles and you can walk between the two once inside - there is usually plenty of space in both to decide where to sit. South Stand is behind the posts and where they are selling tickets to Batley fans, East Stand is the main stand along the touchline.

The ground is virtually on a retail park plenty of parking there there are signs saying you have to pay but last time I went it was free for game day but it's best to check theres a parking office in the car park where the big m&s is

AS George has said above, use the far end of the Park and Ride. The retail parking is restricted to two hours on a match day until 6 p.m.,  and you will get a ticket if you park on there, unless you spend a fiver in M and S, and then get your receipt verified. Much easier to use the P and R, it's only a 3 minute walk.

Looking at this match I think it's going to be tough, York have beaten Sheffield today.

Was just going to post exactly that Rog! However I think we'll shake yesterday off, one bad half won't change much. Would or did York fare any better in France?

They lost 36-0 in Toulouse in Feb.

Not too concerned about toulouse result, this is the one that matters. Gonna be a cracker of a game by 2 in form teams. Wonder if mcgowan will be back for this one.
