York City are actually playing at home on Good Friday.

York City are at home to Eastleigh on Saturday 6th April. Easter is the weekend before that.

And now York City are announcing their next Ladies match against Barnsley at the LNER on Sunday 7 April. Will someone please confirm when and where Valkyrie will be playing Featherstone Rovers on that weekend?

Apparently, it's now Saturday 6 April 1pm at St. John's.  Poor result this, I think. (I'll also have a mad dash to get to LNER for City's match!)

Surely the Knights were aware the stadium was unavailable on this weekend, so why didn't they announce that the Cup game would be played elsewhere? In my opinion this is just another example of poor communication with the fans, some of who will have organised their plans around a Sunday game at the LNER.

Business as usual for the Valkyrie yesterday as they ran in 70 points to thrash Featherstone and progress through to the last four of the Challenge Cup. Well played the Valk!

Outstanding again. The real stuff starts this weekend, a massive game against Saints, and a rehearsal for the Challenge Cup semi. The girls willbe battle hardened by the time that comes round, they play Leeds the previous weekend.

They were battle-hardened for the game last year by playing Leeds the week before, in a game where two Leeds players got suspensions for illegal challenges on Tara-Jane Stanley, forcing her off injured and unable to train all week before the semi-final

I wonder why the squad for Barrow isn't out yet. Didn't it have to be announced yesterday?  Could this lead to a fine or points deduction?

No. Squad has gone into RFL regardless of whether Valkyrie announce it or not.
