Cannot rate After Hours as I have not seen it.

Great list! Taxi Driver was my favourite for years until I saw After Hours a couple of years ago and my life was changed forever. Cannot recommend it enough! 

Why do you rate Shutter Island so highly? I'll be honest, its one of my least favourites.

In an odd twist, I reckon my Top Ten Favourite Coen brother moments would include several from The Hudsucker Proxy and yet it, like your list, would not feature in a top ten of films.

Why do you rate Shutter Island so highly? I'll be honest, its one of my least favourites. 

Took a while to realise Leo's character was the 'patient ' , hate it when you cotton on too early and end up second guessing the rest of the action.
