9' oller
Yet still rfl happy for eagles to play where and when they choose. Doubt many batley lads will of had the luxury of booking a day off work Friday in anticipation for a summers evening slog! RogerT
Am I correct in thinking that Batley did the league double over the Eagles, if correct how long since this as been achieved.
9' oller
Haven and eagles def our bogey team back in the day. But yeah never a league double on super star seagulls. BullyXL
Best performance of the season so far. Line speed and aggressive defence really slowed their attacking threat. Eagles were visibly shaken and frustrated by it, leading to their errors and poor decisions. Can we play like that for the remaining games? If so, we may scrape a top 6 after all. The scrim reaper
A good result for the boys! Probably surprising a few people and a few teams above us! For me personally thought we had a great first half but yet again far too many errors in the second half both Sheffield tries came from our mistakes dropped ball, and poor kicking options how many times did woods kick the ball straight into an opposing player when closing him down when we did get in a good position too many times over playing and poor options lead to more mistakes! On a positive it was a great defensive effort from the boys, like I said a good win let's hope we can keep it up next week at york which could be a real 4 pointer if york lose at toulouse! UP THE MIGHTY BULLDOGS. Edited August 17 by The scrim reaper
